Hey all,
The IFI (Irish Film Institute) will be hosting a two day Anime festival from
the 28th to the 29th of March. It will be showing classic anime films and
talks on the anime industry, full details are in the link below.
http://www.irishfilm.ie/cinema/season2_07.asp?PageID=59&SID=167
Giving the festival starts at 13:10, I say it is best to meet up at Central
Bank at 12:30. This is a free event but we will have to book in advance so
if interested let me know on Thursday and will take down numbers.
Other events on the agenda, yes the karaoke night I promised before Christmas
will happen eventually, just got to discuss with Jap stoc what day would
suit. It will happen soon enough! Also we plan to offer classes such as Painting
figures classes and cosplay classes during the semester.
That is it for now!

Hey all,
Cowboy Bebop: The Movie - 7 votes
Detroit Metal City: Live-action - 4 votes
Time of Eve - 4 votes
So we'll be watching Cowboy Bebop in English and its a toss between DMC and Time of Eve, depending on time and availability we'll probably watch DMC before Time of Eve.
AMS begins at 6, in the Hub, in the Seminar Room which is located on the first floor, there should be a poster on the door to indicate that you have arrived at the right room. Showings won't actually start till about 7:00 - 7:30.
Laters,
Zen

Hey all,
No poll this week considering there was not enough for a poll to happen.
I plan to show volume 5 of Hellsing Ultimate if we get a good enough projector
and
hopefully Xam'd: Lost Memories if it can be acquired.
Over and out,
Zen

Hey folks,
The final deadline has officially been made, you have one week to enter your
mascot artwork. The way its going to work is next Thursday a group of 5 people
will be deciding which piece of art will work best as the AMS mascot. The
recommended people for judging will be -
Amy
Katie
Denzin
Cade
Shinji
A prize will be given to the chosen mascot as well as the most artistic piece.
The piece that is chosen for the mascot will more than likely be altered
to look more professional so it can be used on our website.
