Hey guys,
Hope you're all enjoying arts week so far! We've got plenty for you to
enjoy this week, as well as our usual showing, we'll be holding a
manga drawing workshop on Wednesday. For those of you who are
interested, this workshop will be going on from 6 till 8 on wednesday
evening, in room cag22, (that's not in the main Henry Grattan building
but out the side opposite the caffeteria, we'll try and get some signs
up to stop people getting lost!) It'll be a pretty informal workshop
so don't worry about booking ahead or anything! We'll also be
providing paper and pens so all you need to do is turn up!
For this weeks showings we'll be having some artsy themed animes with
Speed Grapher (which may contain some violence) and Hidamari Sketch
which is a little slow moving but hopefully enjoyable! Along with
those two, we will either be watching a Lupin film, or Macross,
depending on time and availability! (If neither of those is possible
we will be watching Diebuster!)

Hello all,
So I just realised I have yet to send out a mail for this week, sorry
about that guys! Oh well, better later than never, I promise I won't
keep you for long anyway, As you may have noticed on the forums it's
LGBT week so we're looking to have some kind of showing that fits in
with that theme this wee., if you have any good suggestions let us
know, I'll see what I can do to get ahold of them and if you come
along to the showing we might just have a lovely evening watching
anime, eating cake and heckling each other as usual!:)
In other news, next week is arts week and we will be holding an anime/
manga drawing class on wednesday evening I believe however I'll let
you know more about that later, for now feel free to drop in on the

Hey all,
Sorry for the late mail, we won't be having a poll this week as the
anime has already been decided, instead we have a slightly mecha
themed showing lined up for you starting off with the one and only
Giant Robo!!! followed by the just as awesome Diebuster and
finishing , if we have time, with Time of Eve (And if we don't I
promise, we WILL show it eventually!)

Hey guys,
Hope your all refreshed and ready to start back again after reading
week, for those of you who didn't get a break, no worries, christmas
is coming soon! As some of you may know, the AMS forums have recently
moved from their lonely old site to the lovely new space provided by

Hey all,
Sorry for the late mail this week, what with Redbrick being down and
Reading week going on I've been a bit disorganized! Not to fear
though, showings are still going ahead as per usual this Thursday, in
C165 which is looking to become our regular room for this year so hope
you guys like it!
We'll be watching the end of Last week's Lupin movie for those who
were there, as well as possibly watching a second one due to a new
tradition that we came up with recently to watch a new Lupin film on
the first Thursday of every month! (And since this week is the first
thursday of the month why not get started right away?!) Other than
double Lupin showings, we are open for suggestions! (though you'll
have to wait till redbrick is back up) Also feel free to bring in
anything you want to watch on the night and hit us with it until we
show it, with redbrick out of action that's probably the best way to
get your suggestions heard this week!:)
