Hey y'all,
As you may have noticed, it is Tech week this week and we are
apparently showing technology themed anime for our Thursday showing!
What does that mean you ask? Well, after some brainstorming, we have
come up with a number of anime which involve inordinate use of
technology both current and futuristic! While I was at first tempted
to show such greats as Professor Gadget and Dexter's Laboratory, I did
eventually remember that we are an ANIME society, therefore, this
weeks showing will include Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex,
Battle Angel Alita and Summer Wars. For more information on each of

We will of course be meeting in the usual place (C165) from 6 till 10
so I hope to see you all there!
Also, we need to get some idea of numbers for the mecha painting
classes starting next week so if you're interested either send us a
mail at ams(a)redbrick.dcu.ie or show up this Thursday and let us know
then!

Hey all,
just a few things to tell you this week, first off Refreshers is
tomorrow so if you wanna come along for a chat or have any friends who
have not yet joined but really should, come along tomorrow, we'll be
there from 9 till 3 or so, so you've plenty of time to come find us.
With regards to events this semester, we've a few things happening,
(some tentative, some definite!) We'll be having mecha painting
sessions starting in week 4 and running for the next three weeks
after, they should be happening on thursdays before showings. We'll
let you know more a bit closer to the time. We will also be holding
some sort of anime/manga drawing class for arts week which will be
reheld this semester since it was cancelled last semester due to the
snow!
Along with these we are just putting the finishing touches on a new
logo design and will hopefully be selling badges featuring that design
to raise money for RAG week (And if all goes well, we may also be
selling pocky for charity as well!).
Last but not least, this weeks showing! Since we watched the first
film of 20th Century Boys last week and there are another two films to
follow I was thinking we might continue to show them for the next two
weeks however, I decided to leave the decision up to you guys, whether
you want to watch the next two films or if you want to go back to
watching anime, let us know by voting in the poll at the forums, here:

Hey guys,

Hey guys,
Hope everyone is coping well with the new semester and not missing
free time too much! Sorry for the late email, I am disorganized as per
usual so we have no anime decided for tomorrow as of yet, however,
I've put up a suggestion thread on the forums so if anyone has any
ideas, let us know and I'll see what I can do to get my hands on it!
