2011* will take place on Saturday 13 and Sunday,14 August 2011. This event
is presented by the Chester Beatty Library and the Embassy of Japan in
Ireland.****

This year’s programme will include screenings of Japanese anime films and
the latest Japanese TV anime series. The *Japan Anime Weekend 2011* will
open with a lecture by distinguished animator and director Mr. Jimmy
Murakami at 11.00am on Saturday 13 August. Mr. Murakami is well-known for
his works *When the Wind Blows* and *The Snowman* and his lecture will
include screenings of 2 short films.****

currently being accepted for the *Fifth International MANGA Award*.
The *International
MANGA Award* was established to share Japanese pop culture and to help
promote the understanding of Japan, as well as to honour MANGA artists who
have contributed to the promotion of MANGA overseas. ****

The Golden Prize of the *Fifth International MANGA Award* will be given to
the best MANGA from all the entries, and three distinguished works will
receive the Silver Prize. In addition, the Japan Foundation will invite the
prize winners to Japan to attend the award ceremony in Tokyo in March 2012.
The winners will also have the opportunity to meet Japanese MANGA artists
and visit publishing companies, etc., in Japan.****

So I'm guessing it would be easier for everyone who doesn't know where
Katie lives if we all went together. To that effect, there is a number
of us meeting up at the spire in town at 3:30 this afternoon, if you
