Hey, Right so this week I finally have my laptop repaired so fansubs will be resuming! I'll be bringing my HD and disc's in tonight and making it an open fansub night - The list will be up on the screen and people can simply choose what they want. The library is up and open and people can sign out books for a week currently. The library is growing very nicly and you can see a part of the collection at http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~ams/library - the new manga has yet to be added :) Also in the news - EirtaKon is really growing at a furious pace now! We got a mention in Irish Sci-Fi News Newsletter this week and have been mentioned on the Anime News Network etc.. :D ANyone willing to give us a hand just reply! Ther more the better.

IRISH ANIME CONVENTION IN DCU IN NOVEMBER: EirtaKon is a convention devoted to 'Anime,' or Japanese-style animation, and will be running from Friday the 11th to Sunday the 13th of November this year, in Dublin City University on Collins Avenue in Dublin 9.
There will be six screens showing anime through the course of the weekend, including some international premieres, along with a dealers' room, anime enthusiasts from all over Ireland, related gaming events, table quizzes, a Japanese Bazaar, a charity raffle, and much else.
Entrance is 6 Euro for a day or 10 Euro for a weekend. Entrance will include a free con t-shirt, a con pack, free refreshments for the entire con and a special 'goodie bag.'
