Hey folks,

First of all, some of you will have noticed that the ams forum is down. This is due to redbrick changing servers. We will have it back up and running soon as possible. Showings will be as norm every Thursday in the hub from 6-10.

Other news is that both our semester one events, amv and manga drawing classes, will be going ahead during art week - inconjunction with Art soc.

AMV classes for beginners Held by: Ceili Braidwood (experienced in making over 100 high quality amvs) Location: Henry Grattan CG19 Date and Time: December 3rd @ 6pm

Manga drawing classes for beginners Held by: Leeann Hamilton (former artist with Tokyopop) Location: Henry Grattan CG11 Date and time: December 2nd @ 5pm

Final bit of news i have for you is, if your interested, the Japanese society have offered some of their ukiyo bar tickets to us. Tickets cost €10 and you get free Karaoke, some sake and finger food. This will be taking place December 2nd, 7-10. This of course collides with the Manga classes but the option is still there. To avail of this you must email Ceili at miserywriter@gmail.com with "ukiyo bar tickets" in the title.

Thats pretty much it for now. I highly recommend going to both the amv and manga classes!
