usually does this week. Surprised? That means XG01
from 6-10. Be there or be <REDACTED>.
One of our associates will be running a game of
Pathfinder: "In Service to Lore" on Monday for 4-6 players.
If you want to play make sure you get there early as
it'll fill up pretty quickly.

Console Gaming will be held from 2-6 on Wednesday as
usual. We don't know where it is, so we'll leave you a
trail of cryptic clues across campus to lead you there.
That, or we'll email you. Probably that.
|| PC Tournament: Minecraft: The Hunger Games ||
Are you eager for excitement? Are you pandering for
some pandemonium? Are you moaning for some Minecraft?
If you are, you should come on down to PC Gaming this
Thursday and take part in our Minecraft: The Hunger Games
tournament! Entry will be €2 and the winner will recieve
the amazing prize of NOT BEING DEAD!
Sign-ups will start at 6PM with the tournament starting
at 7.
|| Painting Day ||
This Tuesday Gamessoc will be having a Warhammer Model
Painting Day with Artsoc. It will be held in C167 from
5:30 to 9. We'll have an "expert" giving tips on how
to not be bad at painting too, so if you're interested,
you should drop by.
|| Christmas LAN ||
Gamessoc are going to be having a 24h Christmas LAN
running from 12PM the 15th of December to 12PM
the 16th of December. We'll be having tournaments
and stuff, and it usually is great craic so you should
sign up here: http://games.dcu.ie/#event21 if you want
to go. Places are limited so make sure to get in early.

Gaming in the Old Bar. Entry will be €2 with a €20 voucher prize.
Of course if you don't fancy shelling out the cash for the tournament,

if Mario Kart just drives you up the wall, we'll have the rest of the
consoles set up for your enjoyment.

We're going to be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting to elect
a new Consoles Officer via public vote this Monday during Traditional
Gaming in XG01. If enough people show up, there may even be Pizza!
|| Trad Gaming ||
Trad Gaming will be running as standard on both Monday and Wednesday
in XG01, from 6PM-10PM, minus the interruption on Monday for the EGM.
|| Console Gaming ||
Console Gaming will be running at usual times, that is 2PM-6PM on
Wednesday. Room still has to be sorted but you'll receive an update
on that as soon as we know.
|| PC Gaming & Portal Tournament ||
This week we will be having a Portal speedrun tournament. We're not
telling you what part of it you'll be speedrunning, but we will tell
you that it'll be great fun! There might even be a popular type of
baked good! Sign-ups will be taken from 6PM. Entry will be €2 as
normal.
|| Hoodies ||
At this stage only a few people have yet to collect their hoodies. It
would be much appreciated if you could pick them up. They'll be at all
of our events to make it even easier for you.

Just a quick reminder about the night out that we're planning
on having next Tuesday. We're going to be going to Ten
Thousand asian restaurant and then heading to a pub for
some drinks.

2 tournament will be being held in there. Sign ups will be starting at

We're going to be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting to elect

would be to run Console Gaming. This involves retrieving the trolley
of equipment from the Helix and bringing it to wherever the event is
on and then returning the equipment when the event is over. You will,
of course, have assistance in this from the rest of the committee.
You will also be the one running tournaments and getting prizes for the
winners.
If you think you would like to be the Consoles Officer, please email us
at games(a)redbrick.dcu.ie stating your interest in the position BEFORE
the 8th of November. Any later and you will not be eligible to be
elected.

This week, Gamessoc will be having a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 tournament
to be run during Console Gaming. As per norm, we haven't got a room
yet,
but rest assured you'll find out when we do!
Entry will be €2, with sign ups starting from 2PM and the tournament
itself starting at 2:30PM. There is a €20 gift voucher for Gamestop
going to the winner, so if you think you have what it takes to rule
with an "iron fist" then make sure to come along!
For those of you who aren't psychotic killers and don't want to beat
other people up, we will have all of our other consoles running as
well,
so it's still worth your while showing up.

We'll have PC Gaming running in C204 from 6PM-10PM as standard
so pop along and play some games with your friends (if you have them)!

Hoodie orders have arrived in and will be available for collection
at all of the events this week. You MUST bring €22 if you want to
pick your hoodie up. If you ordered one I would highly recommend
picking it up as they're really nice!
