Hey guys, just a quick notice about Warpcon.
Warpcon will be running from the 25th-27th of
January in Cork. We have been granted for 25
members of the society to attend this year.
We will be able to refund you €14 of the Travel
costs, and €12 of the entry fee. Unfortunately,
accommodation is not granted for and therefore must
be covered by attendees.
There is information on what is at Warpcon on their
website at: http://www.warpcon.com/
If you're interested in attending, please email
us back at games(a)redbrick.dcu.ie as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Mark

|| Christmas LAN ||
The Gamessoc Christmas LAN is happening this weekend!
Unfortunately there is only 1 place left so if you want
to go you'd better hurry! The details are on
http://games.dcu.ie/#event21 in case you forgot. Enjoy it!
Get out of my email,
Mark Gorman
Hey all,
Just a quick email to let you know where consoles will be happening.
It's in AG45, which is in Albert College. To get there, head to the
big area outside the cafeteria (with the massive pillar thing) and
go into the building that has "Albert College" written over it. It's
directly opposite the Cafeteria/Henry Grattan.
Once inside, take the left down the corridor (there are room signs)
and keep going until just before the first set of fire doors. Take the
door to your right before those fire doors (there's also another sign).
Head straight past the stairs and you'll find it.
If you're worried about finding it, we'll be taking the equipment through
the street at 2PMish, so you can just follow us then.
Hope you guys find it alright,
Mark
Week 11? Two weeks of Gamessoc left! T_T

Wednesday this week in XG01 from 6PM. We'll have
the usual variety of board games for you to play

|| Console Gaming - Bomberman Live Tournament ||
We're going to be having a Bomberman Live tournament
this Wednesday. Sign ups will be from 2, with the
tournament starting at 3. Entry will be €2 as usual.
We'll also be having our other consoles running so
if you want to play in the tournament, or if you don't
want to since you think you'd bomb out, come along
anyway!
AG45 is located in Albert College, which is the
building located beside the Canteen. I'll send out
another email with better directions once I figure out
where it is myself.
|| PC Gaming ||
PC Gaming will be happening as per usual in C204 from 6PM.
Hopefully a few of you will still be alive after last
week's tournament.
|| Christmas LAN ||
Places for the Christmas LAN are disappearing quickly so
make sure you go to http://games.dcu.ie/#event21 if you
have an interest in going. This is primarily a PC lan, but
we will have our own consoles set up as well.
|| Intersocs Christmas Party ||
Our annual intersocs Christmas party will be happening
this Thursday in Matt Wheldon's (the Slipper) located
just off DCU campus. We'll have food, deals on drinks
and even a Santa Claus giving out presents! Festivites
will be starting from 7PM so you should definitely come
along for a good time.
See you guys at the events,
Mark Gorman
