Hey folks,
Just a quick email to correct a room mistake on the weekly announce.
The Brawl Tournament (and console gaming) is in room X101. That's just
upstairs above XG14.
We'll be having an EGM on Wednesday 7th March at 3pm in X101. This will
be to vote on a new Extraordinary Member to act as a strong voice for
our membership. This shouldn't take up much time from consoles and we'll
order pizza for right after the EGM ends.
That's all for now!
Yours Deliciously,
Jon St John Oisin Kelly

Hey all,
First I want to congratulate Conor Lynch and Meabh Landers on coming in
second place in Dublin Gamecraft yesterday. The theme for each of the
teams was Dinosaur Angst and Anstysaurus was a rather impressive
submission. Their game can be downloaded at
http://redbrick.dcu.ie/~conorl/angsty.zip.
Gamessoc also entered a team of three and aided by an extra UCD
developer, we based our game on a python version of super mario and
reskinned it in an hour after our other attempts at using the engine
failed. A video of the submission can be found at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUO0pa49pq4 and a download and
instructions link will be added soon.

Itzacon is upon us once more! Itzacon is a tabletop and wargaming con

Committee Position Available
Our extraordinary member George has stepped down, we thank him for his
work and wish him the best. We're looking for someone to take this
position, so if you're interested then run for the position! If you're
interested but don't know what an extraordinary member does, they're
basically the voice of all the members and bring their concerns to the
committee and also help other committee members with their tasks when
required.
See y'all later,
