Trad Gaming will be back in force this week with
both Monday and Wednesdays sessions going ahead in
XG01 from 6PM-10PM so make sure to show up,
especially on Wednesday as we'll be holding our
AGM! More on that below...
|| Console Tournament ||
We're going to be holding a Wrecked: Revenge Re-visited
in Console Gaming this week. The tournament will be held
in X101, with sign-ups starting at 2:30PM, and the tournament
starting at 3PM. Entry will be 2 euro as per normal, and
there will be a fabulous prize for the winner!
|| PC Gaming||
PC Gaming will be running from 6PM-10PM this week in C204
as per usual, so make sure to come along and spend a block
of time playing Minecraft, or even just to have a LoL.
Please note that aside from the given time, C204 is a
normal computer lab, and as such, you are not allowed to
play games on the computers before 6PM. Thanks!

We're going to be holding our Annual General Meeting
this week at 6PM on Wednesday! This is where we elect
the new committee for Gamessoc for the next year and hear
"reports" from the Chair and Treasurer. We'll also
be voting on whether the new Constitution should be accepted.
We've already receved a lot of nominations for the various
positions (listed below), so if you want to run for any position,
you absolutely NEED to email us before 6PM Monday (tomorrow!) stating
your interest in any position(s) you may want to run for.

We're back to our normal Console Gaming this week with
our horde of PS3's, 360's and Wii's set up for your
enjoyment. We'll be in X101 from 2PM-6PM so make sure
to drop by!

We're going to be having a Dawn of War: Dark Crusade
tournament this week in PC Gaming. Entry will be €2 with
a fabulous prize going to the winner so make sure you
set aside some Real-Time for this when you're figuring
out your Strategy for the week. (That was awful >_>)

in one weeks time on Wednesday the 27th March (Week 8).
If you have any desire to be on Gamessoc's Committee,
this is your go-to event. We'll be holding elections for
all committee positions, as well as hearing from both
the treasurer and chair on different aspects of the society.
We're also amending our Constitution, which means that it
needs to be agreed upon by the membership. It's nothing too
serious, just changing the Extraordinary Membership to
First-Year-Rep. The Constitution is attached.
If you feel you want to help run Gamessoc, but are unsure
what positions there are on the committee, please feel free
to either email us and ask, or ask any committee member at
any of the events.
If you wish to run for any position, please drop us an email
stating your name, and the position you'd like to run for at
least 2 days prior to the AGM. If no one has expressed interest
in a certain position prior to the AGM, the position will be
open to the floor.

|| Console Tournament: MK vs DC with Batman Soc! ||
This week in Console Gaming we're going to hosting a
Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe tournament in association
with the new Batman Soc! Entry will be standard €2, with
signups starting at 2:30PM and the tournament itself
starting at 3:00PM. A €20 gamestop voucher will be
awarded to the overall victor.

PC Gaming will be running in C204 from 6PM-10PM
this Thursday. We have several steam accounts with
games, or you can log in with your own account either.

We're going to be having an Unreal Tournament 2004 tournament
this week in PC gaming. Entry will be €2 standard with signups
starting at 6:30PM and the tournament starting at 7:00PM.

unreal tournament this semester.
