Hey everyone!
Wow, last week of semester already? That's ok, GamesSoc is still up and
running this week as usual to distract you from that study and
assignments
thing you got going on...
Here's what is happening in GamesSoc this week:
- Trad Gaming
- PC Gaming
- Console Gaming
- Christmas Party
- - Trad Gaming - -
Trad gaming will take place as usual on Monday and Wednesday of this
week in XG01. Mondays session will run from 6pm to 10pm, and
Wednesdays session will run from 5pm to 10pm as usual. Come along
to play some card and board games!
- - PC Gaming - -
PC Gaming will be running this week on just Tuesday this week from
6pm to 10pm. We'll be up in C204 on both days. We'll also be running
a League of Legends tournament during Tuesdays session. Signups
start at 6pm, and the tournament will start at 7pm. Come along and
join in to try your hand at winning some skins!
- - Console Gaming - -
Console gaming will be set up in X146 this week from 1pm to 5pm
this Wednesday. Come along to button mash on our consoles, both old
and new! Whether it's Towerfall Ascension on the PS4, Smash Bros on
the Wii U or even some Halo Masterchief on the Xbox One, there's
something for everyone!
- - Christmas Party - -
It's that time of year again! Time to party over in Matt Weldon's for
the annual intersocs Christmas party. We'll be heading to the pub at
7:30pm on the 11th of December for some drinks deals, some finger food,
and most importantly - a chance to sit on Santa's lap and receive some
high quality presents!
