Evening everyone!
Hopefully this email will arrive to you without technical delay however,
this indeed our last week of this semester sadly but before the summer
(and exams) arrive lets see what is going on in Gamessoc for the this
final week:
- Trad Gaming: Love Letter Tournament -
- Console Gaming: As Normal and Tournament Results -
- PC Gaming: MIA (Still on hiatus) -
- 48 hour LAN Sponsorship and King of Gamessoc Update -
- - Trad Gaming: Love Letter Tournament - -
Trad Gaming will return for the final week to its normal operating times
from 6:00pm until 10:00pm on Monday and Wednesday from 5pm until 10pm on
Wednesday, both in XG01.
But wait! There's more! Not only will there be the games you enjoy and
adore, for our last tournament this this academic year we shall be running
a Love Letter tournament this Wednesday!
Times for starting and signups will be the same from the last tournament
so 5:30pm for signups and 6:30pm is when it shall kick off.
Think you got what it takes to steal the princess's heart and fight off
other possible suitors? Well show us what you got and hey, all's fair in
love and war right?
- - Console Gaming: As Normal and Tournament Results - -
Consoles shall be operating as normal in XG01 from 2pm until 5pm this
Wednesday and it's your last chance to grab a chair and play some
competitive or co-op games this academic year with friends and fellow
Gamessoc members so be ready to Smash, let arrows fly in Towerfall, Reign
as King in the Iron Fist Tournament, get some cars Wrecked and head on a
Monster filled Hunt one last time!
Not forgetting to say congratulations to Conor Reddin who won the Geometry
Wars tournament last week!
- - PC Gaming: MIA (Still on hiatus) - -
Unfortunately with the PC's still being restored PC Gaming will not return
for the final week but I wish to thank those that did come down to PC
Gaming in the past and we hope to see you back in PC Gaming when we return
next year!
- - 48 hour LAN Sponsorship and King of Gamessoc Update- -
As you can tell we have an update for you all for the LAN and it's that we
have another sponsorship! Cineworld have sponsored us and have given us 6
free entry tickets to movies of the winners choice to be awarded at the
LAN! Feel like we sweetened the idea of heading to LAN a bit more? Good!
We shall also be crowning the winner of "The King of Gamessoc" we have
been running throughout the year as well!
The tournaments we will be running are currently on the facebook event
page so feel free to have a look! Keeping in mind they're subject to
change and the availability of the game too.
Just to remind you all again that we are having our 48 Hour LAN this
year from the 29 May - 31 May in the Venue in DCU.
If you feel like coming along for the ride of games, caffeine, games,
competitions, games, good memories and...did I mention games?

Consoles shall be operating as normal in X101 from 2pm until 5pm this

annihilate whoever is beside me in a video game. Ahhhh got to love
consoles, win or lose it's always fun.
- - PC Gaming: Still on Hiatus - -

replaced is a wonderful thing and something we have looked forward to for a

Thank you to everyone who came down to NuBar on Thursday to take part
in our annual pub quiz! It was a blast and for those of you who
couldn't attend the winners of the pub quiz were Multitap Games, in second
