Week 5: EGM, Nidhogg and Spooky Tabletop

Week 6 EGM, Niddhog and THE HIVE Hey guys, this week are Wednesday events our in the Hive to try out the new space. *EGM* After consoles on Wednesday at 5 pm, we will be having an EGM to vote in new positions to the society. We will be voting on the addition to our constitution of an Ordinary Member, Community Manager, and Vice Chair. If these positions are voted in we will have a second EGM in week 8 to vote in new people to these roles. *Console Gaming* Console Gaming brings you Nidhogg in the Hive for a tournament. Sign-ups at 1:30 pm for 2€ with the winner receiving a 20€ GameStop voucher and some King Of GamesSoc points to boot. *Tabletop Gaming* Tabletop Gaming is also in the Hive on Wednesday after the EGM til 10 pm. Week 5 Humans vs Zombies

Week 5 Humans vs Zombies WARNING biological component released on DCU extreme caution is advised this week. *Humans V Zombies* This is the week. Starting on Monday at 12 a certain amount of "original zombies" will be chosen at random from the oz pool. These zombies WILL NOT be wearing a headband for the first hour so stay vigilant. Monday Night Mission: Saving private toastie. This Starts at 6:30 pm and there will be a 30 min "safe passage" to the game. Private toastie has been captured and it is up to the humans to recover him from zombie's hands. The zombies have hidden a toaster and the Humans have a set amount of time to capture him back Tuesday Night Mission: Scavenger Same again starts at 6:30 pm with 30 mins before the game being no killing time. In this game, you start with 1 bullet and humans have to try and recover a flag held by the zombies while scavenging (roll credits) for ammo. Thursday NIght Mission: Evac Same meeting time. Humans have to escape DCU and fight the zombies off in rounds. Each human that falls joins the Horde. Will, you escape or all die hopelessly :) *Console Gaming* Console Gaming is on at the Usual time of 1:30 pm - 5 pm in XG01 on Wednesday with Smash, FIFA, Guitar Hero and all the other regular games we bring down with us. *Tabletop Gaming* Tabletop on Monday and Wednesday in XG01 at 5 pm - 10 pm. Keep in mind on Monday this will clash with our Night mission event, however, the night mission will end before trad and there might be some pizza and fun games if you stick around :) *PC Gaming* Join us for PC Gaming on discord! Humans vs Zombies Hey, Guys Humans vs Zombies is starting next week and we will be taking sign-ups for it all through the week and at our stand from 10am-2pm on Monday and Tuesday. As well as other events this week like our fundraising raffle on Wednesday between Tabletop and Consoles at 5 pm in Xg01. This includes a safety talk from Airsoft soc and rules talk by Eamon. Psyche soc is hosting an "Escape the room" event on Tuesday at 6 pm in Xg01. Come to get locked in a room a solve the da Vinci code to get out. Consoles Consoles Will be hosting FIFA 19 tournament on Wednesday sign-ups will be at 1:30. 2euro entry with the chance to pick up a 20euro GameStop and some lucrative King/Queen of Gamessoc points on the side. Fyi don't pick United they're shite at the moment :( Emma will be bringing Shrek Superslam. And yeah I can't really add to this other than saying its smash but with Shrek so. Week 3: EGM! committee positions and Gamessocial!!

HELLO This is a hi to the many new members we got this week. I'll be your email scriber here to detail for you all of our events this week that we have planned for you. :) Also, keep an eye out for one of our biggest events coming up in 2 weeks. Humans vs Zombies, More details to come soon. EGM!! EGM is the big event this week in Xg01 after console gaming at 6 pm, with 2 positions on committee up for grabs, that being First Year Rep and the St. Pats Rep. Committee positions always look good on a cv and speaking from experience being part of the GamesSoc committee has been one of the better parts of college for me :) Following the EGM we will go to Nubar for our Games social event so tag along with us to play some games over there. Console Gaming Console Gaming will be on Wednesday from 1:30 pm - 5 pm in Xg01. Come down to play Fifa, rocket league, smash bros or any of the hundreds of games we have to offer. Tabletop Gaming Tabletop gaming will be on Monday in Xg01 from 5pm-10pm. On Wednesday we have Games social in Nubar instead but we will bring some tabletop games there like Cards against Humanity and Secret Hitler to name a small amount. Pc Gaming: Discord night PC Gaming returns in the form of discord night this Friday and Saturday at 8 PM onward for people to get together and play your favorite PC games!
