*Egm and the long awaited Lan!!*
Why hello again, I'm back again bringing you what's happening this week. A
quick heads up, we're going to have an Emergency General Meeting on 5th of
December at 5pm in XG01! The role of Treasurer is up for grabs this time so
get your speech boots on and have a go to be elected onto the committee!
The long awaited Lan is here!!!! It'll be running from 5pm-5pm on the 14th
and 15th of December on the second floor of the U. Tickets are €20 per
person and can be found here

*Wildcard Night!*
Wildcard night is making a return this Thursday. This week in CG06 from
6pm-8pm we'll be having a wacky and goofy night playing Jackbox. So come
along, crack a few jokes and laugh so hard your insides will hurt.
*Console Gaming*
This week at Consoles we'll be co-hosting it with Anime and Manga Society!
>From 1pm-5pm this Wednesday we'll be in XG01. Come down, say hi and make
some new friends.
Along with this we'll also be running a Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament.

at 8 pm Friday and Saturday so come join in on some late night gaming like
Garry's Mod, Team Fortress 2 and whatever our heart desires.

Week 9: Love Letter tourney, Magic Draft and Tabletop gaming in St. Pat's
Hey guys it's me, your brand new, shiny secretary Gergely bringing you
what's happening this week at Games Soc.
*Welcome and congratulations to the new committee!*
First of all lets all give a warm welcome to our new committee members that
got themselves elected at our EGM last week.

*Console Gaming*
Consoles will be held in XG01 from 1pm-5pm this Wednesday so come along and
play one of the many games available like Guitar Hero, Smash Brothers and
many more.
*Tabletop Gaming*
Love is in the air! This week at Tabletop Gaming on Wednesday we're having
a Love Letter tournament! Sign ups are €2 with the grand prize being a €20
gift voucher for Gamer's World. Tabletop Gaming will be on from 5pm-10pm
Monday and Wednesday in XG01.
Along with this during Monday we'll be hosting a Magic the Gathering draft.
Sign ups are €8 but this time we only have 12 spaces, we'll be going off of
a first come first serve basis so come up to X101 as early as you can.
Are you based in St.Pat's and you dream of attending of Tabletop Gaming but
you can't make the journey up to Glasnevin? Well fear no longer as we're
coming to you! Joint hosted by the Arts and Culture society, on Thursday
from 6pm-10pm we'll be hosting Tabletop Gaming in E205 so come join us and
play all the board games your heart desires.

Hey guys, we're back with another EGM this week alongside some special
events too. We hope you consider running for a position and if not you
won't be going bored :)
*EGM 2*
As stated We will be having our EGM on Wednesday at 5 pm in XG01. We are
looking for members to fill the positions of Ordinary Member, Community
Manager, and Vice Chair. Being part of the committee is great fun and I
hope you consider running if you are interested.
NOTICE this is the final week for the Hoodie deposit. Please have it by
Friday at the latest, Thanks :)
Finally on Monday from 1 pm - 3 pm in CA124 Gamessoc is bringing games to a
coffee morning with the Rotaract society. Pop on by and play some games
with some new people.
*Console Gaming*
Consoles will be in XG01 on Wednesday from 1pm-5pm. We will also be
bringing D-D-D-D-DJ Hero for our tourney this week. Sign-ups are at 1 pm,
entry is €2 and the prize is a €20 Gamestop voucher and some King of
GamesSoc points to go with it.
We will be bringing out our N64 for the wacky game of the week which will
be Goldeneye.
*Tabletop Gaming*
Tabletop Gaming is on Monday and Wednesday from 5 pm - 10 pm (after the EGM
- 10 pm on Wednesday). On Wednesday we have another Magic draft in X101. As
like last time it's €8 to enter but you get to keep the deck of cards you
receive.

Week 7: Mario Brothers movie, Free console tourneys, and RPGs
Hi guys, reading week is a quiet one for some but not for us here at
Gamessoc as we have a whole range of Events for you this week to enjoy the
week :).
*EGM and Wildcard Night*
Thanks to those who showed up to the EGM. The new positions are now in our
Constitution and we will be voting people into the positions of Ordinary
Member, Community Manager and Secretary in week 8.
We also have a special event this week. Our second Wildcard night of the
year!! Inside C124 on Thursday 6pm-10pm we will be showing art in its
truest form. The Mario Brothers movie. If you haven't seen this you are in
for a treat.
Don't forget to hand up money for Dublin Games fest(€10 for regular tickets
and €15 for E-sports tickets) and the deposit for hoodies(€10).
*Console Gaming*
Console Gaming is on Wednesday from 1pm-5pm in XG01 this week. This will
include a gauntlet of tournaments featuring Tekken 7 and Halo which will be
free of charge so no prize but there will be some King Of Gamessoc points
on offer for 1s, 2nd, and 3rd.
*Tabletop Gaming*
Tabletop is also back in XG01 this week on Monday and Wednesday from 5 pm -
10 pm. Bringing all your favorite games, however, if that isn't scratching
your tabletop itch, Daniel Christie will be hosting a group for a
zombie-themed RPG. If you're interested please get in touch with him by the
end of this week.
