Week 12: Intersoc with AMS, Modern Warfare 2 tournament and the long
awaited LAN!
*Brand new shiny treasurer and Intersoc with AMS*
We made it! It's week 12, the last week of college, hopefully assignments
aren't kicking your backside too hard since we have a whole heap of events
happening this week at Games Society.
First off congrats to Maciej Zamoyski Swierad for nabbing the role of
treasurer at our EGM last week! We look forward to working with our new
pizza overlord in the next upcoming year
We have an intersoc event with the Anime and Manga Society on Tuesday this
week! In C106, starting from 6pm we'll be watching the Castlevania anime
with them. So hop on down as a break from your studies or assignments and
enjoy.

LAN is happening this week! I repeat LAN is happening this week! If you

*Console Gaming*
Consoles will be in XG01 on Wednesday from 1-5pm. Our final tournament of
the year will be the old classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! Sign ups
are €2 and along with bragging rights, there'll be a €20 Gamestop voucher
and some King of Games Soc points as the prize.
*Tabletop Gaming*
Tabletop Gaming will be in XG01 on Monday and Wednesday from 5-10pm. We've
got some brand new Tabletop games for you to play so come procrastinate
with us while having some fun.
*PC Gaming*
This week PC gaming will actually be hosted on campus! During the LAN we'll
have a flurry of games for you to binge on along with many different
tournaments that are free to sign up for. Unfortunately due to LAN discord
night won't be happening this week but keep an eye out for it over the
holidays since just because the semester is over doesn't mean discord
nights are!

Week 11: EGM, Yu Gi Oh night and Tabletop at St. Pats!

Welcome all to week 11, which means it's December and it's Christmas time!
Hopefully assignments and study aren't clogging up your schedule since we
have a heap of new events this week.
One last reminder that our EGM is happening this Wednesday at 5-6pm in
XG01! The role of treasurer is up for grabs so come on down for a duel to
the death, I mean a chance to be elected onto the committee.

We're also setting up a stand in the U this week where you can also buy
tickets from 9am-2pm. If you're lucky enough you might even catch a sight
of the elusive Blinky and a newcomer.

*Console Gaming*
Consoles will be in XG01 on Wednesday from 1-5pm. Wacky game of the week is
making a return! This week it'll be Carnival games for the Wii. Come down
and challenge your friends to a variety of silly mini games along with the
usual rotation of games.
*Tabletop Gaming*
Tabletop Gaming will be in XG01 on Monday and Wednesday from 5-10pm. Along
with this Tabletop Gaming will make it's way down to St. Pat's again on
Thursday in E205 from 6-9pm.
Get ready to d-d-d-duel! We're hosting a Yu Gi Oh night in X101 on Monday
from 6-10pm so come join us as we duel our hearts out and drain our enemy's
life points.
*PC Gaming*
Join us for PC Gaming on discord! (Link below) Discord nights will be start
at 8 pm Friday and Saturday and end when we all fall asleep at your
computers. What will we play this week? Not even we can answer that so join
in and find out for yourself.
