Week 9: Kerbal Space Program! and Jackbox Night
Hey, guys no AGM this week I promise. Also, we got a HUGGEEE PC event
running this in the form of Kerbal Space Program on Thursday. More details
on that below.
PC Gaming
PC gaming is on Thursday in C204 from 5 pm with its biggest tournament to
date. Kerbal Space Program Tournament in conjunction with SPARC(Space and
Robotics club) Signups at 5 pm and starts at 6 pm with 2€ for sign-ups and
a 20€ steam voucher for the winner. Not only that but this tournament will
come with ITS OWN TROPHY and a guaranteed steam key for everyone in the
audience :D
Trad Gaming
Trad Gaming will take place as usual 6-10pm on Monday, and Wednesday evening
Our Trad officer Dan Christie is running a small tabletop campaign on
Wednesday from 2 to 5 in X101. He's accepting up to 6 people and will have
a character creation session on Monday. The campaign will be
horror/history-themed, set in World War 2, in the vein of the movie Alien.

Console gaming
Join us for some Console Gaming on Wednesday 1-5pm in XG01
Next tournament, next week is Halo and will be a 2v2 capture the flag LAN
thing. More details next week
Wildcard night
Wildcard night is on Tuesday at 6 pm in cg05 where we will be playing some
jackbox games. They are incredibly fun and I would encourage all of you to
go as everyone can get involved
ALONE Charity Night
Coming up in week 11 on Wednesday the 11th (woah coincidence) we will be
hosting a charity event in the Nubar with ALONE who work with older people
who are socially isolated, homeless, living in poverty or crisis. There
will be buckets present at the event and throughout the week if you wish to
donate to help this cause :)

Week 8: Wii party, Uno and The greatest movie screening
Hey guys I hope the hangover from paddys day isnt affecting you too bad. if
you're not up for games this week we got a new event just for you :).
Also look out for an upcoming gamessocial in partnership with charity group
ALONE in week 9
Awful video game movie night
Have you ever played street fighter and said man I really wish this was a
90s action movie with jean-Claude Van Damme. No? well thats what we have
lined up for you at 6pm on tuesday in cg05. Bring food, enjoy yourself and
be in with a chance to win a special prize :)
Uno gaming: trad edition
Trad Gaming will take place as usual 6-10pm on Monday, and Wednesday
evening following the EGM in room XG01.
But wait we've got an UNO tournament on Wednesday starting at 7pm with 2€
signups and the chance to win a 20€ gamers world voucher. I have no idea
what the rule set is honestly just show on the day prepared for shouting
you should be fine.
Console games: Smashing and partying
Join us for some Console Gaming on Wednesday 2-5pm in XG01
Were finishing up the smash grand slam final. This will be followed by a
wii party tournament. Hey you guys voted for Emma and marc you asked for
this.(I joke love those guys "heart")
Again I've no idea what to expect so join us for what can only be alot of
fun with signups at 2pm, 2€ entry fee with a chance to win a 20€ gamestop
voucher.

Feel free to bring your own laptops, and don't forget your headset, mouse,
etc. We have Steam libraries packed with games to play.
Discord nights
Miss you gamessoc pals on the weekend? We've got discord nights on friday
and Saturday at 8pm where we play all sorts of PC games!.

Week 7: Smash:The final!, Lethal league and New committee

Last week's smash tournament was so good were bringing it forward to this
week with not one BUT TWO! finals with the winners bracket final and
amateur's bracket still to be played.
There will also be the usual range of non smash games to be there as well.

How hard can you hit a ball? Can you hit one hard enough in this weeks PC
tournament of lethal league for a chance at a €20 steam voucher? Tournament

Week 6: AGM, GamesSocial, and Smash
Hey guys,
I hope everybody enjoyed the snow. You can escape the cabin fever this week
by coming to our events!
AGM & GamesSocial
Join us on Wednesday at 5pm in XG01 for our AGM, where we'll be electing
our committee for next year. Come along to run for a position, or just to
make sure you have a say in who's making the decisions next year! And there
will, of course, be pizza.
After the AGM (around 7pm), we'll be heading over to The Slipper for
GamesSocial, where we'll be playing games, drinking and celebrating our new
committee. It's always good fun, so don't miss it!
Console Gaming
Join us for some Console Gaming on Wednesday 2-5pm in XG01. We'll have all
the favourites there as usual, and this week we'll be having a Super Smash
Bros tournament. You know that game that's always on the projector? Yeah
that one. There's a €2 entry fee, and the winner receives a €20 GameStop
voucher. There'll also be an amateur bracket with a €5 prize, so why not
give it a go!
Trad Gaming
This week we'll be hosting Trad Gaming in XG01 on Monday, 6pm-10pm. We'll
be joined by Chinese Soc, who'll be bringing some of their own games along
too! We'll also be trying, again, to run a night of Atmosfear in CG12, the
spooky board game guided by a cheesy DVD (g)host. It's entertaining both to
play and watch, so feel free to spectate if you're late or don't feel up to
playing.
PC Gaming
PC Gaming will take place on Thursday in C204, 5pm-10pm. Feel free to bring
your own laptops, and don't forget your headset, mouse, etc. We have Steam
libraries packed with games to play!
