A few last minute changes! *Auction night room changes!* The Charity Auction will be moving to QG15! Come along and bid away at your favourite GamesSoc items as we raise funds for charity! Along with this if you have any unused and unwanted items that you'd like to give away why not donate it to charity? Week 5: Auction Night!

Week 5: Auction Night! *AGM season!* We're hosting our AGM soon! During week 6 on the Wednesday 6th of March from 6pm, we'll be in XG01 electing our next year committee! Come join us and watch our battle to the death for our committee positions! Remember all positions are up for grabs for all members so if you fancy being on our committee come down and run for something! The positions that are up for grabs are as follows: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Public Relations Manager, Community Manager, 2 Console Officers, 2 Tabletop Officers, 2 Pc Officers, St. Pat's Campus Representative, Webmaster, Trips and Events Officer and Ordinary Member If you find a role that interests you why not come down and try get yourself elected! *Auction Night!* This Tuesday in the Hive from 6pm we'll be hosting an Auction! We have an extremely large variety of things on sale ranging from board games all the way up to video games! All proceeds from this event will be donated to charity that will be announced soon. *Console Gaming* Join us once again in the Entrepreneurship Hub this Wednesday and play some video games! We'll be running Console gaming from 1pm to around 6pm. *Tabletop Gaming* Train up your totem grabbing skills since this week at Tabletop Gaming we're running a Jungle Speed tournament! Join us on Wednesday in the Entrepreneurship Hub from 6pm. Sign ups are €2 per person with King of GamesSoc points and a €20 Gamersworld voucher as the grand prize! Tabletop Gaming will also be running on Monday in XG01 from 5pm-10pm. *PC Gaming* Pc gaming will be running in the Entrepreneurship Hub this Thursday from 5pm-10pm! Don't forget to bring your own mice, keyboards, laptops etc since while we do provide those things there's not enough for everyone! Discord nights are also happening this weekend! Week 4: St. Pats Tabletop Night and Triple Tournament week!

Week 4: St. Pats Tabletop Night and Triple Tournament week! *Tabletop makes a comeback to the St. Pats Campus!* This week Tabletop Gaming is making a return to St. Pat's campus! This Tuesday in E206 from 6pm-9pm join us on our other favourite campus for some amazing board games! *Smash Ultimate ICE Qualifier Round 1!* We're proud to announce that this weekend on Saturday from 1pm-8pm we'll be hosting round 1 of the Irish Collegiate Esports Smash Ultimate Qualifier here in DCU! Tickets are only €5 euro and you have to register before the event which can be found here <https://www.facebook.com/events/600805620346819/>. *Console Gaming* Consoles this week will have a Towerfall tournament! From 1pm-6pm this Wednesday join us in the Entrepreneurship Hub, sign ups are €2 per person with a €20 gamestop voucher along with some King of GamesSoc points! Remember the people with the most King of GamesSoc points at the end of the year will win some pretty sweet prizes! *Tabletop Gaming* Tabletop along with the trip to St. Pats will be running on Monday and Wednesday this week! On Monday it'll run from 5-10pm in XG01 while again on Wednesday it'll run from around 6pm in the Entrepreneurship Hub! *PC Gaming* Pc gaming will be running in the Entrepreneurship Hub this Wednesday from 5pm-10pm! This week we're also hosting a tournament for an old classic game Age of Empires 2 HD! Sign ups are €2 with again a €20 Gamestop voucher on the line along with some more juicy King of GamesSoc points! *A few midweek time changes!* Hey everyone this is just a quick announcement as some of the start and ending times for our events this week have changed. *Console Gaming* Consoles will be ending an hour later instead of 5pm! Join us and play another hour of video games in the Entrepreneurship Hub! *Tabletop Gaming* Wednesday's Tabletop session will start at around 7pm in the Entrepreneurship Hub and will end at 10pm. Monday's Tabletop session is unaffected. *Tabletop Gaming* Pc gaming is unaffected and will be run from 5pm-10pm every Thursday in the entrepreneurship hub! Week 3: Intersoc Castlevania Screening with AMS and Speed Friending with Harry Potter Soc! *Castlevania Screening with Anime and Manga Society!* And so it's results week, to help you relieve stress from your upcoming exams we at Games Soc are bringing plenty of events this week that you're sure to enjoy. As our wildcard night this week we're watching the Castlevania anime with the Anime and Manga Society on Tuesday from 6pm-10pm in C124. Come on down and enjoy this masterpiece with us. *Speed Friending with Harry Potter Society!* Join us as we cohost a speed friending session with Harry Potter Soc on Wednesday from 6.30pm! Come along to XG15 and make some new friends! Pop down and relax and play some of our favourite games with us as a mid week breather! *Tabletop Gaming* Like last week Tabletop gaming will be hosted on Monday in XG01 from 5pm-10pm and on Wednesday in the Entrepreneurship Hub from 5pm-10pm! Will the fabled Uno make a return or not this week? Who knows you'll only find out if you come along and play a few games! Along with this the Mental Health Society will be joining us for our Wednesday Tabletop Gaming session this week so don't miss out! *PC Gaming* Pc gaming is alive and well so join us for some games this Thursday from 5pm-10pm in the Entrepreneurship Hub! Although we do provide Pcs and utensils it is recommended you bring your own since it's first come first serve! Week 2: Events Galore!

Week 2: Rocket League Tourney, Geoguessr Intersoc event with Breaking Borders and Bowling with Sober Soc! *Geoguessr Tourney with Breaking Borders and Bowling with Sober Soc!* First of many Intersoc events to come this Semester! We've joined up with Breaking Borders Soc to bring you a Geoguessr night! This week Tuesday, in the Pairc room in the U from 6-10pm. We'll be splitting everyone up into groups and we'll all take turns to see who guesses the closest with prizes for the group with the highest score! Along with this we've also teamed up with Sober Soc to go do some bowling! It will be happening in the Leisure Plex on Wednesday starting at 8pm. Sign up is €3 per person and it's 6 people per team. If you have trouble setting up a team email us and we'll try sort you out! *Console Gaming* Consoles this week will be in the Entrepreneurship Hub on Wednesday from 1-5pm. Our first tournament of the year will be Rocket League! Sign ups are €2 with a whole €20 Gamestop voucher and King of Games Soc points as the grand prize. *Tabletop Gaming* Tabletop Gaming will be running on Monday and Wednesday this week. We'll be hosting our Monday session in XG01 from 5pm-10pm and our Wednesday session in the Entrepreneurship Hub from again 5pm-10pm! Come down and settle back into college and play a few board games with us! *PC Gaming* Pc gaming will again be hosted in the Entrepreneurship Hub! Just like last week we'll be playing plenty of games on Thursday from 5pm-10pm so hop on down and have some fun! Although we do provide everything you need it is recommended to bring your own mice, headsets! Along with this Discord nights are still a thing! Every Friday and Saturday hop onto discord to play whatever games our heart desires!
