Week 10: All hail the Great Hair! *We have renamed to HairSoc!* Today, on April 1st we're happy to announce that we're rebranding! From this point onwards we shall be known as HairSoc! Our first event after the rebranding is to worship Brendan's luxurious hair! Look at that thing, now you can't look away even if you wanted to. *St. Pat's Hair night!* We're spreading our roots to St. Pat's campus this week! Join us in e203 from 6pm-9pm as we all run through the worship ritual while also maybe playing a board game or two! *Console Hairsole Gaming* This week in Hairsole gaming we'll be appreciating Wario's hairline as we host a WarioWare tournament! Join us in the Entrepreneurship Hub from 1pm-6pm to view Wario in all his glory. Wario ain't free though! Sign ups are €2 per person with the grand prize of a €20 GamesStop voucher going to the most dedicated hair enthusiast! *Tabletop Hairtop Gaming* Hairtop gaming is hosting a Magic Hair the Gathering Draft this Monday! It'll run from 6pm in X101 with sign ups being €7 per person. Beginners are especially welcome as we try convert you to our cult/friendly community! The set we're going to be drafting with is Ravnica Hairnica Allegiance! Monday and Wednesday Hairtop gaming will run as normal with our prayer sessions to the grand hair running from 5pm-10pm in XG01 on Monday and 6pm-10pm in the Entrepreneurship Hub on Wednesday! *PC HairC Gaming* This week's HairC gaming will run in the Entrepreneurship Hub on Thursday from 5pm-10pm! This week theme will be Left for Dead Hair 2! Remember to bring your own hairtops, hairsets, haice etc. as well! While we have a lot of Pcs we unfortunately can't provide for everyone! Week 9: Pub Quiz, WarioWare Tournament and Overwatch Tournament! *A thank you and hoodies reminder !* Hope everyone had an amazing event filled weekend! A big thank you to all that went to UCD's Smash event and Trinity's Leprecon! We hope you had a ton of fun and maybe won a thing or two! Last call for hoodies! If you still haven't payed and collected your hoodie (Yes, you) can you message us or catch a committee member at one of our events and do so. You wouldn't want to miss out on some sweet Games Soc swag! *Pub Quiz!* Raise your mead mugs and sake bottles as we're having a pub quiz with the Harry Potter Society and the Anime and Manga Society! In the Slipper this Tuesday on 26th of March from 6pm, come join us as we see how much we test our knowledge about the large world of fiction and video games with a few surprises in between! It'll be run in teams of 4, with an entry fee of €10 per team! There will also be prizes for the best few teams! *Games Night for DCU Volunteer!* This week we're helping host a Games Night for Charity! This Wednesday from 7pm in the Venue we'll be setting up some games, both Tabletop and Consoles alike! Join us as we raise money for charity! Week 8: EGM, Jungle Speed Tournament and St. Pat's night! *EGM and Hoodie reminder!* Oh what's this? An email on a Bank Holiday weekend? Just because school's out doesn't mean GamesSoc is! Hope everyone is having a good St. Patrick's Weekend as we have a whole host of events for you this week! Just a quick reminder that we have an EGM this week! On Wednesday from 6.30pm in the Cuillín Room we'll be electing our new Public Relations Officer and Treasurer! Fancy yourself one of these positions? Why not come down and make a good old speech to get a spot on our committee. Pizza will also be making special appearance! And the final reminder of this email! We still have a few people's hoodies left so if those kind souls (you know who you are) come collect them it would be greatly appreciated. *St. Pats night!* Once again we're making a return to St. Pat's campus! Join us in the Entrepreneurship Hub from 1pm-6pm this Wednesday and duke it out with your fellow members in a variety of different sports to claim King of GamesSoc points and a €20 Gamestop voucher! Sign ups are €2 per person. *Tabletop Gaming* Tabletop gaming is back this week on Monday and Wednesday this week! Week 6: AGM week!

Week 12: AGM week! *AGM!* It's time for our yearly elections! Join us in KA115 aka the Pairc Room in the U on Wednesday from 6pm as we decide Roman emperor style who'll be on our next committee! There also may or may not be pizza if our overlord Maciej allows it. Along with this do you fancy yourself a position on the Committee? Why not run for one of our 17 positions available! They are as follows; Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Manager, Community Manager, 2 Console Officers, 2 Tabletop Officers, 2 Pc Officers, St. Pat's Campus Representative, Webmaster Trips and Events Officer and Ordinary Member! And to celebrate our new committee we'll be heading off to the slipper after the AGM and having a few pints in this semester's first Games social! *Console Gaming* Get ready to face off against Matt and your fellow GamesSoc members in various sporting events in our Wii sports tournament this week! In the Entrepreneurship hub from 1pm-5pm we will find out who is the ultimate Wii sporter in our Society. Just a quick reminder Console gaming will be finishing up early this week because of our AGM! *Tabletop Gaming* Buckle your card binders as this week we're hosting another Magic the Gathering Draft this Monday! Join us in X101 from 6pm-10pm for some tapping fun. Tabletop gaming is making another round to St. Pat's campus this Thursday! >From 6pm-9pm in E205 join us as we'll be playing some board games with our favourite St. Patians! Along with this our regularly scheduled Tabletop gaming every Monday from 5pm-10pm in XG01 will be running as normal. Wednesday's session will be delayed till after the AGM and will be running in the Slipper instead! *PC Gaming* Prepare your Engineer sentry Turrets as this week at Pc gaming we'll be hosting a Team Fortress 2 tournament! In the Entrepreneurship Hub from 5pm-10pm we'll be shooting and back stabbing each other as we compete for the grand prize of a €20 Gamestop voucher and King of GamesSoc points! Remember that while we do provide Pcs, mice, keyboards etc, it is recommended you bring your own as it's a first come first serve basis!
