Week 12: Karaoke and SMAAAAAAAAAAASH! *Only one more week left!* Hope everyone isn't too bogged down on end of semester blues since we've got a ton of events coming right at you to celebrate the end of the academic year! In preparation of Lan we're going to running a stall where you can buy your tickets! We'll be on Glasnevin in the U and the Street everyday next week from 10am-4pm! Along with this we'll be running a stand on St. Pats on Thursday from 10am-12.30pm! Why not come down and sing a few songs with everyone in the Venue this Thursday from 6pm-10pm to celebrate the end of another academic year! Our Redbrick friends are also making an appearance and are hosting their Summer of Love along with AIMS in the Venue! The link to the event on Facebook can be found here! <https://www.facebook.com/events/633169837097084/> *Smash Tournament Rounds!* This Wednesday in the Pairc room from 1pm all the way to 10pm we're going to be hosting a plethora of Super Smash Bros. games ranging from Brawl to Ultimate with Melee may or may not be making a special appearance! We'll be hosting a tournament for Brawl that'll start at 2, sign ups are free so what are you waiting for? Along with this our semesterly Tournament on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will start at 5! Sign ups are €2 per person with a €20 Gamestop voucher as the grand prize! *Console Gaming* Console gaming will be in the Pairc room along side Super Smash Bros. Day! Join us in the Pairc room from 1pm-10pm this Wednesday as we blow off some end of semester steam alongside our Smash bretheren! *Tabletop Gaming* What's going on this week at Tabletop you ask? Why not join us this Monday in XG01 from 5pm-10pm as our Tabletop Officers have a sneaky surprise planned for this week! Along with this we'll be playing a bunch of Werewolf so why not come on down and join us as we decide the fate of a bunch of our fellow members! *PC Gaming* Our final PC gaming session of the academic year will be run this Thursday in the Entrepreneurship Hub! It'll be run from 5pm-10pm so why not join in as we play the end of semester exams away! Remember to bring your own laptops, headsets, mice etc. as well! While we have a lot of Pcs we unfortunately can't provide for everyone! Along with this Discord nights are a thing! Join us and play video games till 4am starting at 8pm this Saturday! Week 11: Keyforge night, the Grand Trek to go watch Shazam and Super Meatboy speed runs! *SHAZAM!* This week we're making the brave journey through the outside world to go watch Shazam! This Tuesday we're all meeting up at the Henry Gratham at 6.30pm and making our way down to the IMC in the Omni to catch the 7.30pm screening. Join us as we're offering discounted tickets! This Wednesday from 6pm-10pm why not join us as we smash each other's faces in? Beginners are highly encouraged to come as we'll be all the more happy to indoctrinate you into our cult teach you a game that many of us love! *Console Gaming* Join us this week in the Entrepreneurship Hub this Wednesday from 1pm-6pm! What will we play this week? Why not come along and find out for yourself and blow off some end of semester steam! *Tabletop Gaming* A moment of silence for Wednesday's Tabletop GamesSoc sessions this semester. Unfortunately due to the low numbers we've decided to retire Tabletop Gaming during Wednesdays to open it up for other events! Don't grieve too much though as it'll be back next semester alive and strong! Monday's Tabletop Gaming session is still breathing though! We'll be hosting it this Monday in XG01 from 6pm-10pm! We're also hosting a Keyforge night this Monday! Sign ups are €8 per person, you'll get a deck to play with which you can then steal your friend's aember with! *PC Gaming* Get ready to test your platforming skills as we're holding a Super Meatboy speed run tournament at Pc gaming this week! Compete with your fellow GamesSoc members to see who can get revenge on Dr. Fetus the quickest as sign ups are €2 per person with the grand prize being a €20 Games Stop voucher! Pc gaming will be running in the Entrepreneurship Hub this Thursday from 5pm-10pm! Remember to bring your own laptops, headsets, haice etc. as well!
