Hey all it's a brand new week so it's time for a brand new email!
|| Traditional Gaming - Mon/Wed 6PM - 10PM || || Console Gaming / MW3 Tournament - 2PM - 6PM || || PC Gaming || || Gamessoc Hoodies || || Gaelcon ||
|| Trad Gaming ||
Trad Gaming will be running this week as per usual. This means 6PM to 10PM in XG01 on both Monday AND on Wednesday after Consoles. Make sure to come along and play some games. Whether its joining the Resistance, playing the epic Game of Thrones or simply showing off your Magic: The Gathering skills, you're sure to find something to do!
|| Console Gaming - Modern Warfare 3 Tournament ||
The room for Console Gaming has not been set yet, but you can expect an update soon on where it will be.
This week we will be having a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 tournament. It'll be €2 to enter and sign-ups will start at 2, with the tournament itself starting at 2:30. The matches will be played in Free-for-all and the winner will receive a €20 voucher for Gamestop. If you're confident of your skills, why not step up and shoot fish in a barrel?
Even if you're not interested in the tournament, come along as we'll have plenty of other consoles for you to enjoy.
|| PC Gaming ||
Unfortunately, PC Gaming will NOT be happening this week. We have not yet been able to arrange a time to set up the lab we use, but we hope to have it running next week.
|| Gamessoc Hoodies ||
We are going to be ordering our Gamessoc Hoodies soon, so we want to get a rough idea of how many people are interested so we can get an idea of prices. The usual price is around €25. If you come along to Console Gaming on Wednesday, Nicole, our events officer will be taking names or you can email us at games@redbrick.dcu.ie to let us know if you're interested.
We have a list of colours for both the hoodies and the zippies on our forums here: http://games.dcu.ie/forums/index.php?topic=3257.0
|| Gaelcon ||
Gaelcon will be run from the 26th to the 29th of October and will cost €28.
