A quick re-cap about the event for those who missed last week's email: Our annual 24 Hour BYOPC LAN is THIS FRIDAY in the Venue, the hub in DCU from 6pm on Friday until 6pm Saturday. Anyone can go, not just DCU students so if you've any gaming friends who aren't members of the society or college make sure to invite them along! We love new faces! Bring your PCs and your laptops or even your own consoles for 24 hours of glorious Gaming!
Don't have a PC/laptop or can't bring yours to the LAN? No worries! We will be bringing our TVs, Consoles and Trad games to the event too so there's something for everyone!
Also what's a LAN without tournaments and prizes? We've got that too! There will be prizes for the 1st and 2nd place winners for each of the tournaments which have now been announced as follows!
PC: League Of Legends Worms Reloaded Xonotic (Arena Shooter, check it out here! http://www.xonotic.org/media/)
Consoles: Rocket League Smash Bros Wii U
Sounds good? Damn right it does! Want to go to this wonderful event? Of course you do, here's how!

Second fill out your details in the following google form! http://goo.gl/forms/3FxOAckrtT
Third, turn up on the day and have a blast! And guess what? It only costs 25 and this will include admission and entry to all of the tournaments!
If you have any questions don't hesitate to reply to this email! --
-- Redbrick are hosting their annual Christmas party in the Slipper this Thursday and guess what? We didn't humiliate ourselves too much last year so got invited again! Join us Redbrick, and many other societies in the Slipper (Matt Weldons) on Ballymun Road from 8pm. Think Freshers Ball but cheesy Christmas cheer and Jolly old Santa with a sack full of fantastic* pressies! Drink deals, pizza and lots of friendly faces! https://www.facebook.com/events/1090099287674480/ --
-- Our final nights for Trad gaming this semester will happen during our usual time and locations so if you haven't gone in a while this is your last chance until the second semester so don't miss out! We know it's sad, but don't cry! You can find Trad Gaming on Mondays in XG01 from 6-10pm and on Wednesdays in XG01 from 5-10pm. --
-- For our last Console gaming for the semester, we'll be running a Mortal Kombat X tournament on the PS4 so if you want to engage in fighting of the lethal variety and win a prize or want to chill out and play our usual selection of games you know where to go! And if you forgot it's on Wednesdays from 2-5pm in XG01. --
That's all for this week and this semester so I'll see you all next semester! (after we've had many a drink at the Christmas Party and many a game at the LAN of course!)
