Hey there,
We're sending out this email early due to the redbrick downtime. This means the webpage, forums and Clyde will also be down for the weekend. But don't fret they'll be back online this Sunday.
Next week will be a quiet week but don't worry we're planning a lot of great events for the rest of the semester.
Here's the rundown for week 8: - Traditional and Tabletop Gaming - Console Gaming and Mario Kart DS Tournament - Lab Gaming
- Traditional and Tabletop - T&T gaming will be on this Monday and Wednesday at 6pm in room C165 of the Henry Grattan building. We'll be playing some favourites like Battlestar Galactica, Ticket to Ride and Apples to Apples.
Also, if you're interested in running a RPG for T&T gaming just send us an email with what day and what RPG you want to run and we'll announce it in the weekly email.
- Console Gaming and Mario Kart DS Tournament - This week Console gaming will definitely be on in the back of the Old Bar from 2 to 6. We'll be set up past the pool hall with you favourites like Brawl, Rock Band and Castle Crashers.
This week we're having a mini tournament that's free for everyone to enter. It'll start at 3pm so make sure to sign up before then. We'll be playing Mario Kart DS and all you need for this is a DS since it's download play. There will be a prize for the winner and sweets for all who enter.
- Lab Gaming - This starts at 6pm in room C204 in the Henry Grattan building. We'll be playing the usual games like Counter Strike, Worms, Team Fortress 2 and Quake. If you want to play any games on steam but don't have an account don't worry, we have accounts you can use.
That's all for this week, hope to see you all at events!
Yours Deliciously Oisin Kelly, Secretary DCU Games Society
