Week 11: ALONE Charity Night, Bakugan and PC Dirt Rally tournament

Hey guys, 

The penultimate week is ahead of us and as always we have plenty of events to keep you preoccupied from study. Keep an eye open for buckets in our regular events this week, This is in partnership with ALONE and all proceeds from the bucket will go to them.

ALONE Charity Night

We will be hosting a charity event in the Nubar on Wednesday with ALONE who work with older people who are socially isolated, homeless, living in poverty or crisis. There will be buckets present at the event and throughout the week if you wish to donate to help this cause :) We will have Trad games, Rockband and maybe a surprise game or 2 so you shouldn't miss it

Trad: Bakugan tournament

Baku-what? I dunno some horrific birth child between yu gi oh and Beyblade, it's on this Monday and for those of you who do know what it is equipment will be provided. Trad is on the usual Monday and Wednesday 5-10pm, Tournament sign-ups are €2 and the prize is a €20 Gamers world voucher.

PC gaming Dirt Rally tournament

PC gaming is on Thursday from 5-10pm in c204 with a Dirt Rally tournament at 6 pm, sign-ups are €2 and the prize is a €20 Steam voucher. Discord nights are Friday and Saturday too usually starting around 8 pm.Feel free to bring your own laptops, and don't forget your headset, mouse, etc. We have Steam libraries packed with games to play.

Console Gaming

Console gaming will be in xg01 from 1pm-5pm on Wednesday. Last weeks Halo tournament will be finishing up so if you're involved please come back and if not come watch and cheer for Eamon to lose :)
