Week 12: Intersoc with AMS, Modern Warfare 2 tournament and the long awaited LAN!

We made it! It's week 12, the last week of college, hopefully assignments aren't kicking your backside too hard since we have a whole heap of events happening this week at Games Society. First off congrats to Maciej Zamoyski Swierad for nabbing the role of treasurer at our EGM last week! We look forward to working with our new pizza overlord in the next upcoming year We have an intersoc event with the Anime and Manga Society on Tuesday this week! In C106, starting from 6pm we'll be watching the Castlevania anime with them. So hop on down as a break from your studies or assignments and enjoy.  | LAN in t-minus 5 days! |
LAN is happening this week! I repeat LAN is happening this week! If you still haven't bought your ticket for one of our biggest events of the year be quick and grab one here as over half of the tickets are already sold out! Tickets again are €20 per person. Blinky may or may not also make an appearance at LAN so be there or you'll miss our favourite friend. Consoles will be in XG01 on Wednesday from 1-5pm. Our final tournament of the year will be the old classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! Sign ups are €2 and along with bragging rights, there'll be a €20 Gamestop voucher and some King of Games Soc points as the prize.  | Tabletop Gaming |
Tabletop Gaming will be in XG01 on Monday and Wednesday from 5-10pm. We've got some brand new Tabletop games for you to play so come procrastinate with us while having some fun.  | PC Gaming |
This week PC gaming will actually be hosted on campus! During the LAN we'll have a flurry of games for you to binge on along with many different tournaments that are free to sign up for. Unfortunately due to LAN discord night won't be happening this week but keep an eye out for it over the holidays since just because the semester is over doesn't mean discord nights are!
