Week 6: AGM, GamesSocial, and Smash

Hey guys,

I hope everybody enjoyed the snow. You can escape the cabin fever this week by coming to our events!

AGM & GamesSocial

Join us on Wednesday at 5pm in XG01 for our AGM, where we'll be electing our committee for next year. Come along to run for a position, or just to make sure you have a say in who's making the decisions next year! And there will, of course, be pizza. 

After the AGM (around 7pm), we'll be heading over to The Slipper for GamesSocial, where we'll be playing games, drinking and celebrating our new committee. It's always good fun, so don't miss it!

Console Gaming

Join us for some Console Gaming on Wednesday 2-5pm in XG01. We'll have all the favourites there as usual, and this week we'll be having a Super Smash Bros tournament. You know that game that's always on the projector? Yeah that one. There's a €2 entry fee, and the winner receives a €20 GameStop voucher. There'll also be an amateur bracket with a €5 prize, so why not give it a go!

Trad Gaming

This week we'll be hosting Trad Gaming in XG01 on Monday, 6pm-10pm. We'll be joined by Chinese Soc, who'll be bringing some of their own games along too! We'll also be trying, again, to run a night of Atmosfear in CG12, the spooky board game guided by a cheesy DVD (g)host. It's entertaining both to play and watch, so feel free to spectate if you're late or don't feel up to playing.

PC Gaming

PC Gaming will take place on Thursday in C204, 5pm-10pm. Feel free to bring your own laptops, and don't forget your headset, mouse, etc. We have Steam libraries packed with games to play!

This may be the last email I send, as I won't be running for Secretary on Wednesday. So thank you for reading every week, all three of you.
