Week 4: Hype for HvZ + Pokemon League!
*The Horde Approachs...*
As Halloween looms on the horizon, so does our yearly October event: Humans Vs Zombies (otherwise known as HvZ), which will be running all throughout Week 5! We’ll be running a HvZ stand in the U this Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 to 4, so feel free to come down and sign up! We’ll also be running a HvZ raffle this Wednesday at 6pm where we’ll be raffling off Nerf guns and darts, which is a great way of preparing yourself for the main event! *Gamesoc Pokemon League!*
Introducing Gamesoc’s newest event… The Pokemon League! Entrants will compete against a league of Gym Leaders sourced from our very own committee members in the hopes of becoming the Pokemon League Champion! Console Gaming will be taking place this Wednesday from 1 to 6 in the Hive, so come join us for your weekly dose of console gaming goodness! There’ll be a FIFA Tournament running during this week’s Consoles, so make sure to sign up if you’re looking to show off your virtual football skills!
As a heads-up, if you're looking to take a game out of the gamesoc boxes to play, please ask a committee member to take it out for you! *Tabletop Gaming*
Tabletop Gaming is going ahead in the Cuilin Room this Monday from 5-10pm, and after the HvZ raffle until 10pm on Wednesday! Whether you’re looking to play an old favourite or try out something new, there’ll be plenty of board-games (and Twister) to choose from! *PC Gaming*
Join us on Tuesday in the Enterprise Hub for our weekly PC Gaming event! It’ll be running from 6-10pm, so come down and enjoy our wide selection of PC Games!
Remember to bring your own laptops, headsets, mice etc. as well! While we have a lot of PCs, we unfortunately can't provide for everyone!
We'll also be hosting a Gamesoc Discord night on Saturday from 8pm onwards! If you're not a member of the Discord yet, there's a link down at the end of the email!
