just to let you know we'll be having an egm on monday
to elect 2 new treasurers at six in c115 - one for
DCUtv and one for DCUfm - i'll be staying on as the
mps treasurer - this makes it easier on us all and we
hope not to run into as many problems as last year -
we're now hoping to have three seperate accounts -
hence three seperate treasurers - so if your
interested please come along and i can assure you all
this meeting will be a quickie and remember just how
good it would look on your cv!!!

Hey folks, at the moment we are practicing a studio show on Thursday @ 5
in the tv studio on the first floor of the Henry Grattan building. Anyone
who wants to come along for the experience is welcome.
Also Michael Harte, your email address has somehow disappeared from my address
book so could you come along with your video and we could look at them at
the end. If you don't wanna stay for the whole thing pop along at 6 - whatever
suits.
Also next week there will be a presentation workshop with Martin Croghan

Hey guys,
Just a quick note to let you know what's up...
Una Redmond (of the Societies and Publications Committee) tells me that the
SPC will decide on our grant money by next Wednesday to enable us to finally
get off the ground with organising 'things'. Our bank account has also been
unfrozen, so I will begin by organising the Christmas party ASAP. Keep tuned
for further details...
Also, I'm sure you've all heard that Uaneen Fitzsimons, the RTE and 2FM
broadcaster was tragically killed in a road accident yesterday. As you may
or may not know, Uaneen was the Chairperson of the MPS in 1994, and I
thought it would be a nice gesture to send a wreath to the funeral on behalf
of the society. If anyone wishes to send condolences to her family, there is
a book of condolences open on the web at http://www.2fm.ie
