Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that the MPS AGM is on tomorrow evening (Wednesday)
at 6.45 pm. We'll be meeting at the MPS noticeboard in Henry Grattan.
The meeting is basically a summary of the past year and we'll also be electing
next year's committee, so please come along and make sure the best person
for the job gets in! Just briefly, huge thanks to everyone who got involved
this year, DCUfm was (definitely!) the best ever, DCUtv is fantastic and
Hybrid was a great success. Not to mention the trip to Cork!
Thanks a million everyone, I hope the next committee enjoys it as much as
we all have!

just to let everyone know that dcuTV has been nominated for an O2 Media
Award...we got a nomination for Television Production of the year for Best
of dcuTv(a montage of all the programmes),In Studio With Polar also got
nominated...but we're up against each other so we won't speak of that,

Eachtrai Beo also got nominated for best Radio Production of the year
but UCD still managed to out nominate us...next year we'll get them,

Hi everybody,
I know you're probably all snowed under with assignments at the moment but
this is just a quick word about DCUFM 2003.
THE STATION
We will be broadcasting from Monday 11th March to Friday 14th March. I
know that seems ages away but we have to get working on programmes soon.
THE PROGRAMMES
If you have any ideas for shows that you want to put forward give either
myself or kim (kim.murphy8(a)mail.dcu.ie)an email as soon as you can. If
you want to do a show but don't know what to do it about, we can give you
a few suggestions.
We would like to ask if any of you are interested in doing any of the following
shows:
60s Music Show
00s Music Show
Documentary about Italia 90 (Jackie's Army etc)
Documentary about USA 94 (Jackie's Army again)
Taking Part in the Breakfast Show.
Drama pieces
Comedy Shows
Other documentaries (Music,
I know that documentaries can be a lot of work but we've always had great
documentaries on the station. So give us a shout with your ideas or if you're
interested in any of the above.
