Hey all,
There will be a camera workshop this Wednesday in the Henry Gratton for those
who want to have a go with the equipment and learn a thing or two. The time
and room will be confirmed on Monday.
I have included a link to the cannon XL1 mannual so that you can have a little
read up on it before you come or if you don't have time don't worry it's
just always useful to know where to find it.
Don't get too bogged down on it though,

Hey everybody,
Hope all is well with college work and stuff.
2 Things:
A reminder that the guest speakers (careers night) is on this coming Tuesday
(8th November) CG12
I have confirmed 2FM?s Rick O? Shea, Jenny Huston and 98FM?s Debbie Allen.
It is at 6pm this Tuesday 8th November in CG12 (big lecture room on ground
floor Henry Gratten)
They?ll be chatting to us about how they got into the media industry, their
earlier experiences, tips, advice, pro?s and con?s of working in the business
etc. You?ll also get the chance to ask them questions and chat to them afterwards
if you like!
Secondly, DCU FM web-casting finally started last Wednesday. The studio was
a bit rusty after not being in use since before the summer but finally got
the show on the road after a few slight delays!
Recording these shows to MP3 for you to listen to & download off the site.
You can access these shows online at wwwlmediaproductionsociety.tk
I won?t have them up until at least the weekend as I I haven?t had the time
yet to edit the file, cut it up into the various shows, upload and so on,
due to stupid tough college projects L
Thanks to all who did shows on Wed and whoever is still interested in doing
shows, throwing a 30 min or 60 min show together, do feel free to contact
us and we?ll try to slot you in!
Regards,
Lizanne Barnwall
