Hey!!
Attached is the provisional timetable for next week for DCU FM!
Have a look at it, and take note of when your show is, as I will be finalising
it by Wednesday. We expect that if you've signed up for a show that you
are committed to doing it, so please don't pull out at the last minute!
Every show must have a playlist typed up for the producer, and if possible
the length of each song, if it's a music show.
We have the phone line up and running in the studio now so if you want to
do interviews over the phone you can.
Our sponsors are ESB, Toyota and AIB so please mention them!
There will be a Workshop on how to work the desk is on Wednesday at 4 in
the studio for anyone interested in producing.
Hope the preparations go well, enjoy your 30/60 minutes of DCU fame (!!!)

Hey!!
Just to let you all know that this week is tech week here in DCU. There'll
be different workshops and seminars running all week.
Check out http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/ for the full time table.
Mps will be running a Studio workshop at 4 on wed in the DCU FM studio.
We'll also be running a TV production workshop, details of room and time
to follow.
The annual MPS table quiz is on in the Old Bar on tues at 8. Its only €3
to enter and theres great prizes to be won. All proceeds go to the National
Association for the deaf and the national Association for the Blind.
As usual DCU fm will be streaming live from our website on wed from 12-4.
Tonight, theres a digital art exhibition and screening in the new bar with
wine and cheese reception at 8pm.

I've mailed everyone individually with times of shows for DCU FM. Apologies
if I have only given you half an hour instead of an hour, but due to the
huge number that want to get involved it was the only way I could manage
to get everyone a show.
Please try to stick to the times I've given you, unless its a complete emergancy
and you cant make it, as I need to have the timetable finalised and can't
do this if people say the times don't suit! (even if it means missing a
lecture, it'll be worth it!)
When preparing your show, you will need to prepare a playlist typed up of
songs for the producer, with the length of the song.
Oh and remember that no bad language or slander is permitted!!
If you have a particular title for the show, let me know, if not, I'll just
use your name.

Apparantly I send too many emails. Maybe I do.
Anyways,
Esther (Assistant editor from Film Ireland) told me that if anyone has a
proposal for an article in Film Ireland, please send a brief description
to the Editor, Lir Mac Cárthaigh at editor(a)filmbase.ie.
She also said that she hopes to have more press shows soon.
I'll keep ye informed when they are on.
