there will be a dcu fm week PROGRAMMES meeting this WEDNESDAY at 2PM in
CG86
at this meeting if you would like to do show or multiple shows during dcu
fm week which is week 5, you will be able to put your name down.
so if you want to present or even to produce a show come on down to CG86
this wednesday at 2PM
oh and if you are in lectures at that time as the MAJs are just email me
at katie.galvin3(a)mail.dcu.ie with the days n times you are available to do
a show

Hi all,
As part of Tech Week, We are having a fantastic Table Quiz on Tuesday at
7pm in the Bar.
The top/star prize is an mp3 player for each member of the winning team.
There will also be spot prizes for the best team name and the top score on
the Tech round.
€3 per person - 4 people per team

Hey everyone,
I forgot to say in the last email that at the EGM we will be electing a new
DCUFM tech officer. If you have any experience in this field and would like
to fill the position you will have the opportunity to nominate yourself at
the meeting.
Also - we wil be having a stand on Clubs and Socs refreshers day so you can
also speak to the committee there about any ideas/queries/suggestions.

Here is the lowdown for semester 2:
****EGM****
The EGM will take place on Monday at 6PM in CG86
If you have any ideas, questions etc -- you can approach the committee there.
If you cant make it - please email the committee if you have any questions/suggestions.
****HYBRID AWARDS****
The Hybrid Awards will be taking place at the start/middle of March - date
will be confirmed soon.
This is one of the biggest events of the year for MPS and for the college,
with well acclaimed guest speakers and judges present.
Now is the time to start producing material or gathering material you have
already produced to enter.
I will emial the categories again - but roughy you can enter scripts, websites,
films, documentaries, photographs etc.. This is one of the best nights of
the year and you dont have to be a member to enter or attend. watch this
space, an tarbh and the website for more information...
****ACTUALIZE2006****
Actualize is MPS's very own exhibition of media submitted by DCU students
in a gallery setting. Actualize will take place in late March/ April - again
- watch this space for final date. For information on actualize see www.actualize2006.tk
****HOODIES****
Hoodies will be ordered if there is enough demand.. we'll take a hand count
for this at the EGM.

hey hey everybody
as you all should know its rag week next week and mps are rising to the occasion
so to celebrate rag week DCUFM will be hubcasting chez le hub from 2 until
4 on tuesday, wednesday and thursday next week
so we're asking you to give up half an hour to an hour of the drinking time
to come and do radio shows for us! Although if we smell alcohol you wont
be let anywhere near the studio.....

its a great opportunity to get involved with MPS and DCUfm esp before DCUfm
