There will be a radio workshop focusing on scriptwriting, presenting and interviewing techniques on Tuesday next at 1.30 pm in the radio studio, upstairs in the Henry Grattan.
Cathy Moore is taking it-she lectures CS2 Radio and has had an impressive CV from 20 years experience with the BBC, Channel 4 and RTE (Late Late Show, Prime Time)She also worked as a freelance journalist covering the Balkan War.
The workshop is aimed at potential interviewers and presenters for DCU FM and unfortunately I have to limit it to only 12 places as the studio is quite small. We'll also be giving handouts on interviewing tips and doing interviewing exercises. It should be over about 2.30/3ish.
I'm going to put up a notice on the MPS board later today so sign up there. Only sign up if you'll definately be there!
