Here's what's coming up for MPS!
Ok, we are still getting membership requests and random ideas so.....
This THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15th, MPS will be holding a meeting in CG12 (Ground floor of the Henry Grattan) at 6PM.
At the meeting - you'll get a chance to discuss your ideas - or hear some of ours that you might want to get involved with!
If you have not rejoined MPS and still want to, or know that your friends are interested in joining come along, with your €4 and your student numbers and violla- your now a member of MPS (again)! This mailing list will be wiped soon - so you wont get all our updates etc!
As a member you will have access to all our equipment and all our events including workshops on audio editing, image editing as well as workshops on how to put everything together to create a good media project.
We also plan to have an industry night (provisionally in week 10!), in which we will have guest speakers from from different media professions to chat and answer your questions! This was hugely successful two years ago and a group of students were even lucky enough to get a tour of the 2fm studios from DJ Rick O'Shea following the talk!
MPS is all about YOU - so, Programme officers fromDCU TV and DCU fm will be there to answer any questions you may have about making videos or radio shows!!
