My name is James McDermott, I'm one of the organisers for this year's Dublin City University UKIEPC site. Just a quick email about the event on Saturday!

UKIEPC 2019 will take place between 11am - 4pm on on the 19th October 2019 in room L101 in DCU's School of Computing. This building is found on the DCU Glasnevin Campus and is denoted by the letter "L" on the following map https://www.dcu.ie/info/campus.shtml. If you are looking for parking on the day please consult the following page - https://www.dcu.ie/estates/parking.shtml.


I advise arriving early where possible, that way if any problems crop up we can catch them before the competition begins. If people have a problem finding the room please feel free to ring me at +353862432443. I'll be spending the next day or two ensuring the labs are correctly set up for the day. Contest login information will be distributed on Saturday to each team.

We intend to enforce the rules of the competition strictly on Saturday. If you aren't familiar with the rules for the compeition, please see http://ukiepc.info/2019/ for more information. Our sponsors for 2019 are our friends in Mastercard, who have graciously donated a set of prizes for the members of the first, second and third placed teams. You'll see for yourselves what they have in store on the day! Mastercard are also being kind enough to keep us fed and refreshed for the day too!
