Hello
The National Sustainability Summit [1] is taking place on the 29th & 30th January, 2020 at the Citywest Conference & Exhibition Centre. The event will bring together stakeholders from government
bodies, industry and academia responsible for delivering Ireland's emission targets.
Sustainable development means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Sustainable development is about making sure that
everyone in society enjoys a decent quality of life today, while also making sure that we can pass on that same opportunity to the next generation, and on into the future.
Sustainable development relates to our economy, our society and our environment. A sustainable society is one where economic prosperity provides a good standard of living for everyone, without
exhausting our natural resources or damaging the natural environment, and where no one is excluded based on, for example, gender, age, disability or religion.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn and listen to industry peers in our engaging seminar halls as well as networking with the array of exhibitors on show.
We would like to offer you a Free Delegate Pass [2] to attend. Simply click on the link, register you details and your badge will be ready for collection at the event.

Hello,
I hope you are keeping well.
How can you refine your company’s Brexit preparations to take into account the latest developments in a seemingly unending saga? This central dilemma and associated questions will be addressed in
light of the most up-to-date information available at the Brexit Summit [1], which is an integral part of the MANUFACTURING & SUPPLY CHAIN CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION being held at the Citywest
Convention Centre, Dublin, on 29th and 30th January 2020.
Of course, Ireland is unique in being the only part of the EU with a land border with the UK and this poses distinctive problems for local businesses of all types and sizes. Similarly, the prospect of
a customs border in the Irish Sea would also cause difficulties for some companies.
Economic and political uncertainty due to ‘Brexit’, and the possibility of ‘trade wars’ precipitating a global recession, have been impacting on investment decisions. With some clarity now
starting to dispel the cloud of uncertainty that has been hanging over business since the Referendum Vote in 2016, the Brexit Summit is timely as it falls on the eve of Brexit day on January 31st.
Now that the 2019 UK General Election has radically transformed the political landscape, a degree of certainty and predictability about Brexit has emerged with the ratification of the Withdrawal
Agreement. As negotiations for a UK/EU trade agreement commence, the potential Brexit scenarios should start to narrow and a ‘no-deal’ alternative, which would necessitate a hard border in
Ireland, may well evaporate.
According to the Conservative 2019 election manifesto, a trade deal regulating the UK’s future relationship with the EU should be concluded by the end of 2020. Given the complexity of trade deals of
this nature, such a short timetable seems highly ambitious but there is provision for an extension to be sought before the July 1st deadline.
A panel of experts has been assembled for the BREXIT SUMMIT to look beyond the political rhetoric to the commercial realities, and to provide practical advice on how to prepare for Brexit now that the
implications for Irish businesses and their supply chains, are becoming clearer. In addition to the challenges posed by Brexit, the event will also highlight some of the opportunities. This may well
be your last chance to check that your Brexit strategy is fit for purpose.
With limited numbers of places still available, I would like to offer you a complimentary delegate pass to the Brexit Summit [2] is being held on the 29th & 30th of January at Citywest .
To claim your pass, simply click on the link FREE DELEGATE PASS [3] to secure your place at the conference. Feel free to inform your colleagues and clients that the event is free to attend.
The Brexit Summit is co-located with the National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition [4] over 6,000 delegates, 250 Speakers and 450 exhibitors.
