How can you refine your company’s Brexit preparations to take into account the latest developments in a seemingly unending saga? According to the Conservative 2019 election manifesto, a trade deal regulating the UK’s future relationship with the EU should be concluded by the end of 2020. Given the complexity of trade deals of this nature, such a short timetable seems highly ambitious but there is provision for an extension to be sought before the July 1st deadline. A panel of experts has been assembled for the BREXIT SUMMIT to look beyond the political rhetoric to the commercial realities, and to provide practical advice on how to prepare for Brexit now that the implications for Irish businesses and their supply chains, are becoming clearer.
