Hi All, This will be our last e-mail of the millennium. We just want to thank every one of our members and anyone who has helped up during this very successful semester. We achieved many aims including our main one of travelling to Celtic Park, an article on which is in "An Tarbh" this week. Our internal league has been going pretty well and our last two performances has shown that there is quite a bit of potential to continue our good run well into Semester two. We have kept our promise of indoor soccer every Wednesday from 1pm - 2pm and this has been an enjoyable event for many. Also how could we forget the Ceili night in the Bar, a very memorable night for all who attended especially the lucky prizewinners. And of course the main reason we are here: Glasgow Celtic! Criticism has been coming in thick and thin from the media and so on but in reality this has been a very successful season so far for Celtic. They have obtained 77% of the points, something which Celtic haven't achieved since Jock Stein's era. Sadly it's down to ranger's remarkable season and once again we are playing catch-up to the forces of darkness. Having said that anyone who thinks the season is over can think again. Celtic's last two performances have been nothing short of brilliant and rangers have a lot of injuries to worry about with an old-firm coming up on the 27th of December. At the weekend Celtic yet again hammered sorry Aberdeen 6-0 and Celtic have scored 18 goals against the dons in just three games! (The same team who put rangers out of the CIS Cup) And of course the gers clung on to a poxy 1-0 scoreline against the pathetic Kilmarnock. Believe me...the title race is far from over. Tonight we are having a bit of a get-together this evening in XG14 from 8pm onwards to celebrate our success. There will be free beer at it and some refreshments. Hopefully we will also be showing 5-1 to keep everyone in touch. Thats about it, the internal league team will not be playing tomorrow as we have a bye. In the meantime Hail Hail! DCU Celtic Supporters.
