Hey everyone,
Ok after the success that was Arts Week, we have to start getting ready for
Christmas!!!! (Only one month to go!) Sr. Barbara is holding the annual Christmas
Carol service on December the 8th and she has asked us at Fotosoc to help
her out..Basically she wants us to put together a slideshow of photographs
that show the contrast that is Christmas ie. she wants us to take pictures
of the good and bad aspects of Christmas. So, together with the Saint Vincent
De Paul Society we are going to go into town and take photos of the commercial
side to Christmas (shop windows,lights ect.) and get some shots of the homeless
and less glamerous side of Christmas.
Come along this Monday night, at 7.45pm in the Interfaith Centre and dont
forget your camera!!!
Thanks to everyone who took part in Fotosoc events at Arts Week and congrats
to exhibition winner Enda Doran whose photograph was choosen by professional
photographer Mark Doyle as the winning picture. For those of you who may
have missed out on some of our events, dont worry we have plenty more in
the pipeline including Foto Week next Semester...So get involved :)
