Hey everyone, Tech week is this week, so keep an eye out for your photos and all the exciting events. :) The main reason for this mail is to tell you about our great new Fotosoc t-shirts. If you want one please email me back, we need numbers by Tuesday morning. Sorry for the short notice! The shirts will be approximately 15 euro, can be tight-fitting for girls and loose for guys, or whatever way you want them, and should be great! Get back to me asap. Thanks, Kate

Right everyone... How's it going? This email was meant to go out last week, but I'm very disorganised!! So apologies if anything is late or short notice. Tech Week is next week and Fotosoc are having a mini digital show at the launch night on 28th Feb - we'd appreciate one (or more!) digital image from each of you! Anything you have lying around, or that you've used in projects... the more the merrier. It's not a competition, so don't be shy. Just email me your photo, or the URL of your photo before Wednesday. We are having a members meeting on Wednesday the 23rd at 2.30pm in Meeting Room 2 in Clubs and Socs area (upstairs in the Hub). Everyone is welcome to that, especially if you've any questions or suggestions or so on. And refreshments will, of course, be available. It'll all be very informal and fun. Photography week is going to be pretty packed.We're still asking for entries to our exhibition that we are holding in Week 5 - Photography Week. We will acept entries in digital, colour and black and white - please submit high quality digital photos on cd (or EMAIL them), and supply the negatives of any prints. Put them in an envelope with your name on it and bring it up to Clubs and Socs - you can leave them in our cubby hole, which is on the left as you go in labelled "photography". There is no theme for the exhibition, so go crazy!! We are also looking for a team of photographers to work under the direction of Sister Barbara Stafford for an Easter exhibtion. If anyone's interested, contact aisling.orourke6(a)mail.dcu.ie. Photo of the Week Submissions are to be sent to sarah.mcintyre5(a)mail.dcu.ie before 3pm each Wednesday... Hey everyone, Welcome, first of all, to new members! If you know anyone who would like to join, or who has joined but is not on the mailing list, please let us know. It's just gotten much easier to update the mailing lists, so there should be no problems like that this semester. Now the real purpose of this mail is to ask for entries to our exhibition that we are holding in Week 5 - Photography Week. We will acept entries in digital, colour and black and white - please submit high quality digital photos on cd, and supply the negatives of any prints. All the usual stuff will go on this semester too - workshops, tutorials, scavenger hunts, camera loans - and we also have a new feature in An Tarbh called "Photo of the Week". Submissions for this (digital only, in jpg format) should be submitted to me before noon on the Wednesday of each week. We will hopefully have a general meeting before the end of next week where we can tell you more about everything - I'll let you know. Any questions or complaints, give me a shout. Kate
