Hi Folks First of all I would like to apologise to anyone this does not concern, there is no definite list for all clubs and societies so I am hoping that this mail will go to the administrators of those lists and therefore to the committees in question. Also, I fear that the personal email addresses that I have for the committee members of the clubs and societies might be out of date in which case I would appreciate if you could forward this email on to the current committee. If you as a committee member of a club/soc are allowed a privilege of buying in advance, you are only given that privilege on the understanding that you act in the best interests of your members. You have a responcibilty to let your members know about the tickets, and a responsibility to allocate tickets fairly. Any society found selling tickets to their members at a higher than cost price will be refused collection of the tickets on the day. Its that time of year again, and I know alot of you have been asking questions so here's the details. Date : November 29th (that's a Tuesday) Venue: The Burlington Buses Depart: 6.30pm - 7pm Line up : Quartet Podge's dinner Music Revolate (yes thats how they spell it) The Blues Brothers Show Band DJ Tickets go on Sale to Societies Monday 24th at 9am -11am in the clubs and socs office, we will also be in the office from 5pm-6pm but there is a cap being placed on presales this year so there is no guarantees that there will be tickets from 5-6. Tickets are going on sale to Clubs on Tuesday from 2pm - 4pm Once Again there is a cap on these sales so get in early. Clubs and Society Tickets can only be purchased by a member of the committee with a cheque for convenience and safety reasons. There will be tickets for general sale on Wednesday 9am in the Venue for anyone who didn't get a ticket. Tickets can be collected from the Venue Wednesday 23rd November. The person who purchased the tickets should be the one to collect them. Any questions?
