A new term has arrived and a new committee is trying to get the Mathsoc up and running. Here's what we have lined up so far: The Irish Mathematics Students Association (IMSA) will be meeting at the end of November. This is in the process of being organised but it'll definitely mean some food and a piss-up after some hopefully interesting talks. Early in the new year , DCU Mathsoc and Physeng will both be going to a science exhibition of some sort in Amsterdam. There's not much more i need to say on that except that it'll be cheap. Intervarsities are in March sometime. Yet to be organised. Along with those will be Table Quizes , a Countdown style quiz and a Pool Competition. And just in case that doesn't get your pulse racing with excitement , we also have plans for 6 lectures/talks by guest speakers. If you haven't joined already and want to , we'll be holding a meeting in the Seminar Room of the hub at 2:00 , Wednesday 30th October. regards , DCU Mathsoc.

This is probably the first mail of the year so I apologise for the delay. Next Wednesday 31st , 2:00 we will be holding a meeting in the seminar room of the hub. We hope to ratify a new committee and discuss upcoming events including a trip to Amsterdam to attend a science exhibition. We also have other events planned and hopefully if any of you have any ideas , we'll take them on board too. If more information is needed , feel free to mail back. -- DCU Mathsoc.
