To all MathSoc members and otherwise, This weekend the annual IMSA (Irish Mathematical Students Association) conference will be held in Trinity College. The event is mostly a social way to meet the other MathSoc students from around the country, as well as see some light lectures on different topics in maths. Last year DCU held the conference, which was a great success, with nearly eighty people attending the meal. The schedule this year is for a pub quiz and piss up on friday night, lectures on saturday, a meal and a nightclub on saturday night, and some more talks on sunday. Any MathSoc members are welcome to come along, if you want to join MathSoc it'll set you back a paltry e2.50. We had a good laugh last year, this time promises more of the same.
