[Fotosoc] Integrating Research and Practice
Dear Dawid Nowak, We would like to invite you to participate in any of the following five related special tracks which represent different methodologies or approaches to effectively Integrate Research & Practice, where "practice" refer to both educational and professional/technological practices: * Case Studies and Methodologies: stCSM 2016, * Action Research and Action Learning: ARAL 2016, * Interdisciplinary Research, Education, and Communication: IDREC 2016, * Integration of Research, Education, and Problem Solving: IREPS 2016, and * Qualitative Research and Methodologies in Science and Engineering: QRMSE 2016 These special tracks are being organized in the context of the 7th International Multi-Conference on Complexity, Informatics and Cybernetics: IMCIC 2016 (http://www.2016iiisconferences.org/imcic), to be held in Orlando, Florida, USA, on March 8-11, 2016. The submission deadline for this Call for Paper is * October 20th, 2015 *. Submissions for face-to-face and virtual presentations are both accepted. All final versions of the full papers will be published in the conference proceedings, and best papers related to the above five tracks will also be published in a special issue of the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics, and Informatics (JSCI), if an adequate number of these best papers is available. If not, they will be published in a regular issue of the journal. Details about the following issues have also been included at the URLs given above: * Pre- and post-conference virtual sessions. * Virtual participation. * Two-tier reviewing combining double-blind and non-blind methods. * Access to reviewers' comments and evaluation average. * Waiving the registration fee of effective invited session organizers. * Best papers awards. * Publication of best papers in the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics, and Informatics (JSCI), which is indexed in EBSCO, Cabell, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), and Google Scholar, and listed in Cabell Directory of Publishing Opportunities and in Ulrich's Periodical Directory.
