SISTEM 2019What is SISTEM? Well SISTEM is a meetup style conference run by students, for students. SISTEM helps provide a link between students and those in the world of tech and enterprise in a casual meetup environment.
Building on the foundations of the inaugural event in 2018, SISTEM 2019 promises to cater for multiple skills levels on the day, with speakers from an array of different companies, as well as workshops, a live tech panel, and lightning talks! On top of all this, one of our lucky attendees will walk away with a brand new Xbox One courtesy of Microsoft!
In short, Redbrick DCU, DUCSS, UCD Netsoc, DIT Compsoc, DU Netsoc, MUCSS and UCD Netsoc have come together to organise the student tech event of the year!
Tickets are €10 each, including breakfast and lunch, and all proceeds will go to charity. Tickets can be purchased at https://dcusu.ticketsolve.com/shows/873599383

HashcodeGoogle’s team-based programming competition, Hash Code, allows you to share your skills and connect with other coders as you work together to solve a problem modeled off a real Google engineering challenge! In small teams of two to four, coders all over the world will tackle the first problem through an Online Qualification Round. Though this round is hosted online, teams can come together to compete side-by-side in locally coordinated Hash Code hubs. One of which will be hosted in DCU on the 28th of February in LG25. The top teams from this round are invited to an international Google office for our annual Hashcode Final Round!
