Week 3 Newsletter

Rise and Grind Gamers, get ready for yet another action packed week. This one is going to be a busy one, so I hope you're all as excited as I am!

Redbrick Member of the Week

This is a bit of a new segment that we're toying around with. The entire plan is to highlight a cool member of the society an show our appreciation, so our first ever Redbrick Member of the Week goes to the one and only Sebastian Pluta. We honestly had to give it to him after the amount of ̶h̶a̶r̶a̶s̶s̶m̶e̶n̶t campaigning he did towards John Baptiste at FOSDEM on behalf of Redbrick.

All proceeds are donated to this year’s charity of choice, Jigsaw, working to ensure that no young person feels alone, isolated and disconnected from others around them After a sold-out 2019 edition in DCU, SISTEM 2020 is bigger and better than ever before, taking place on Saturday the 29th February 2020 in the O’Brien Centre of Science in University College Dublin. Now in it’s 3rd edition, SISTEM has expanded to three action-packed tracks, covering a wide range of topics from across the tech landscape. Tickets are €10 each, including breakfast and lunch, with all proceeds donated to Jigsaw, this year’s charity of choice.
