Hi, Following on from the good turnouts at the HTML tutorials over the last two weeks, Redbrick is holding a UNIX basics tutorial in LG25 of the Computer Applications building tonight at 6pm. We will show you how to do basic unix commands which can be used on redbrick or any other unix system as well as how to setup your Solaris account and to customise it with your own desktop. So that's Redbrick UNIX and Solaris Tutorial LG25 6pm Tonight (Tuesday) This tutorial is open to anyone (including non-School of Computer Applications students) and only very basic knowledge of computers is needed as people will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and go through the tutorial with you.
