Hey everyone, Just some details on a change to redbrick's tomcat setup. Currently jsp's and servlets are accessed using urls such as www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~skyhawk/date.jsp www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~skyhawk/servlet/HelloWorldExample This will no longer work. The new url for tomcat access is jakarta.redbrick.dcu.ie/~skyhawk/date.jsp jakarta.redbrick.dcu.ie/~skyhawk/servlet/HelloWorldExample Also anyone behind a firewall (including csds) which block traffic to high ports, should no longer have a problem accessing tomcat as the requests are being accepted on port 80 and then redirecting to 8080 internally. Lastly I will be trialling a tomcat upgrade on the server over the coming weeks. I will be looking for testers, those of who who make regular use of tomcat to try it out from time to time. The main switch will not occur until after fourth year demos, and the current tomcat install will not be affected by this testing.
