This weeks talk is about hosting Wordpress on your own Redbrick site! Always great to know how to do this, a lot of people use their Redbrick sites as personal blogs. Be sure to come along, especially if you have any questions. There will of course be pizza!

This week our admins will be introducing you to Virtual Machines and our web services. You will also learn how to use a LAMP (Linux,Apache,MySQL and PHP) setup as a backend for websites. As always there will be pizza afterwards!

=Linux InstallFest=
Date: Thursday 14th November

If you would like to install Linux on your own personal machine, join us next week when our Helpdesk and Admin teams will help you to do so.
We will provide installation discs to those who attend and if your laptop doesn't have a cd drive please bring a USB stick that's at least 2GB in size.
We will be offering copies of OpenSUSE, MInt and Ubuntu with both Dual Boot and VM options available.
