Week 2 Newsletter

HELLO EVERYONE! It's branch and I'm back again. This week we'll be introducing a load of new members coming from the C&S fair. It's going to be great to have loads of new faces around and to meet everyone.

But also have some big news with the announcement and grand opening of our new discord server! You can join all of us in the committee and get the latest info and access to everything Redbrick! There will be a lots happening and a lot of banter to be had. Everyone is welcome and I hope to see you all there!

Intro to Redbrick

What's a Redbrick and how do I use it? On the last day of Clubs & Socs in LG26 at 3pm we will be introducing our new members to Redbrick! Come along and learn more about us, our community and what we can do for you! Current members and associates are welcome to come along, if you have friends who'd like to join, bring them along to the event if they didn't make it to C&S days!

Come down to see us at Clubs and Socs this week, where we'll have a big stand set up to welcome you. We'll be there all day on Monday the 30th and Tuesday the 1st of October. Come around to see us to have a chat, get yourself a slice of pizza and signup for another great year of events and talks!

This October Redbrick plays host to a hub for Hacktoberfest 2019! This means for one month, and one month only, Redbrick's HackerClub becomes HacktoberClub!

Finish the October with 4 or more Pull Requests on Github and you can bag yourself some free swag (t-shirts, stickers, etc)

Our first session starts this Wednesday at 4pm in LG26! See you there!
