Hi, As you all know, the AGM is fast approaching. If anyone is interested in running for the positions of Helpdesk ( Education Officer ), System Administrator, or Webmaster, they have to take a small test. The System Administrator test will be on this coming Friday, at 8pm, meeting in the lobby of the CA building. There are samples of the test up on http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/about/admins/ for anyone interested. The Webmaster test will be on Monday at 7pm, again, meeting in the lobby of the CA building. Samples are at the bottom of this page http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/about/admins/ Just a quick note for any webmaster candidates. Starting this year, the position of webmaster will no longer come with root privileges as standard. If a candidate wishes to take root, he or she will have to pass an aditional root test later on ( to be held after the AGM ).
